We ordered a carry out order and it was so delicious! The pulled pork is fantastic. I ordered the pulled pork waffle fries, potato salad and kale greens. The portions were good and I loved it all. The waffle fries were too much to eat in one meal so I had lunch for the next day.

Traveling back to Michigan and was looking for a good BBQ place on the way home. This was the best meal we have had this year! The pulled pork waffle fries were amazing. My wife said the cheeseburger was the best she has ever had. The bbq brisket was also amazing. What really made this experience over the top was our waitress and her three little girls. She was super sweet, kind and helpful. I love supporting a local family business with kind hard working people like this! We will make this a must stop in our future travels.

I went to Winchester Ky with my wife,my brother and his wife for a day and saw this great old BBQ outside the front door of this lovely bar & Grill, I met Paul Howard (the owner ) out side loading a big ham into it, we talked for a few minutes and he asked if I would like to take some photos of him at the BBQ so I did.
We came back after a half hour and went inside to a very clean restaurant the staff welcomed us and we had a drink at the counter before sitting down to a table for food, when Howard saw us he was over to talk to us again, he then brought us some sample foods that tasted fantastic,
We then sat for our meal, my wife and I had the brisket with waffle potatos with cheese over it, my brother and his wife had the brisket with sides, there was no shortage of food we got so much it was hard to eat it all and the BBQ flavours were just perfect,
Both Paul and the Lady inside the bar were so friendly they would make you feel like a local and that you were at home.
Thank you both for a lovely dining experience and we will be back to try some more of your fantastic food.

Friendly, caring owner and staff.
I've been enjoying Smokin' Howard's for over 10 years, since he was at the golf course.

My husband and I decided to give this a try. We're staying at a local motel, coming from IL. We were both very pleased It was a great meal. Generous portions for a decent price. The only thing to complain about is they did not give him salad dressing for his salad and they did not give me any butter for the baked potato. Luckily the dollar general is like 2 businesses away from our hotel. But I feel like they should've been included in the price.It was still a very good meal after purchasing salad dressing and butter. I would definitely recommend it to someone else and once we finally relocate here we will be back for sure.

The food here is amazing! Catfish bites might be my favorite, but it's hard to beat the brisket. Generous portions. Everyone has been friendly every time I have visited.

Ate here for the first time today. The food and service were both excellent. Our server Jayla recommended the catfish and greens. Really enjoyed it and she provided us with great service. Will definitely be back.

While in Winchester after reading several menus and reviews, my husband and I chose your restaurant for the brisket. In our travels, I am always looking for good brisket.
A huge smoker was parked in front of the restaurant. We took this as a good sign. As we walked toward the entrance, we were greeted by several friendly customers sitting at the outside tables. This was also a good sign.
Upon entering your building, we were kindly greeted by one of your servers although there is a sign stating to go to the back for service.
Your food did not disappoint. The brisket was smoky and tender. The barbecue sauce was a tasty addition. My husband said his burger was made from fresh ground beef and was quite delicious. Our food was served piping hot.
Tanna was very attentive and accommodating. I appreciate her heating my barbecue sauce. As we were waiting for our food, we were greeted by another worker (my husband is convinced he was Howard). Whoever he is, he was extremely nice. If your goal is to make your customers feel like family, then you are successful. Thank you for the hospitality and great food.

Ribeye soup was vegetable soup with tender chunks of ribeye. Delicious. A cup was the size of a bowl. Bacon cheeseburger was a hand patted burger cooked to perfection. Recommend.
