Vile. Vomitous. Dry. Crusty. Steak n Shake has really fallen in recent years snd this was the worst. Over sales cold fries. My wife's Frisco melt stank. It was not browned on one side. My burger bun was stale. The edges of the burger were hard as toe nails. It was lunchtime. No customers. No wonder. Just close this place.

I have attempted the drive thru twice. The first time they couldn't make shakes.......the second time I waited in line for several minutes and they gave our food to the car in front of us. Obviously due to Covid, the food had to be trashed and we had to wait several more minutes for new food. They don't have dine in currently, so it's even more frustrating that they can't get an order correct.

the general manager is peace of work,our burgers were so burnt you couldn't eat it , took them back and he said that's the way he cooks them , really bad service and cooking , will never eat there again, very pour management......, the Winchester store is a joke .... very up seat and angry

The girl at the drive-thru was the sweetest and most friendliest person we've dealt with at a drive-thru in a while!! Very polite, our food was great and the Milkshakes were awesome!! We recommend the Cotton Candy milkshake if ya haven't tried it yet, your definitely missing out!!

This place is ridiculous. We ordered our food at the drive thru got to window and paid and the order was wrong. Went back around to tell them and they refused to give us the correct order because we already paid for what we got, then proceeded to tell us that we would have to pay for a burger that we had already ordered. Will not be back to steak n shake again. If I could leave negative stars I would

I was really craving steak and shake after work. It states on the website that they are open till 10pm on Saturdays. Pulled up at 9:45PM and to go thru drive thru and they had the drive thru speaker all blocked off with sawhorses and cones! I find that really bad customer service! Being in retail myself we always help folks out up till close. Very disappointing as this isn’t the 1st time it’s happened.

Only part of my 30 dollar order they got right was the drinks. Drive through clerk was pleasant enough but I should have know I was in for trouble when had to get a manager to run my debit card. I played 30 bucks for two hamburger ( plain hamburger) meals and chicken fingers. Would have taken it back but I was already on the interstate when I noticed. I'll not stop there again.

My wife and I had always received a military/veteran discount at the Winchester location , and never paid for sauces at all. After looking at my Army ball cap, the server said they couldn’t do that, and explained the sauces were extra (we never paid for them before). All this after being in line for nearly an hour in the middle of the afternoon. It was a blatantly rude manner in which we were treated, so No! We will NOT be going back there!!!!!!!!!!!

Fast, friendly drive-thru service. Tasty burgers, Free french fries! Very reasonably priced. Only complaint, no salads when I was there.

Last three visits the fries were cool and stale. 5 minute hold time guy's and gall's. Fries are almost always satisfactory at that hold time. And for goodness sakes. Don't be afraid to clean out the fry hold every 6 or seven basket drops. It may help your reviews. Gotta drop a star on this.
