Amazing food and cleaned plates! The restaurant was very clean and had a fun vibe, we came across it driving in to Winchester and couldn’t be happier! The food was well priced and had a unique profile. Highly recommend!

I love indian food - sweet, sour, spicy, stews & rice and fresh bread - what's not to like?Well, when you're accustomed to dishes automatically coming with chutney and rice, a $15-$18 dish seems worth it.Taj bistro is more in the $25 range per person / dish. Fine dining prices, with below average food.

I've eaten here on 5 occasions now. Unfortunately this place has slowly went down hill. The lunch buffet was once loaded with many tasty and fresh options. They slowly lowered the buffet options and reheated food which was unacceptablefor the steep price. My last visit the lunch buffet was no longer offered. The food from the menu is good. The portions are on the smaller side but it is tasty. I will no longer make the drive from Georgetown as there are better options in Lex.

Easily on of the best Indian Restaurants in the area! The food is on point everytime and the chicken Tikka Masala is my go-to dish everytime. The beer is really good too! If you ever get curious enough to try it! And the service is quick and nice also! Highly recommend!

This was a good introduction to Indian cuisine at their buffet for me and my family.. My son and I had never had this type of food before. They had (curry, ginger, cilantro, cumin type) spicy and spicy hot (like jalapeno and ghost pepper) items on the buffet, as well as a variety of sauces. The hot pita/naan/flatbread served at the table (I'm not sure of the exact title?) was very good. It was a nice way to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

Great food at a reasonable price! Clean restaurant. Friendly and attentive service! Server was awesome and made some seriously good recommendations. We will be back to sample some more of their menu. The Naan(?) bread was amazing!

What an incredible gem! Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. This buffet rivals any I have been to. Huge selection. It’s hard to recommend specific dishes because everything was incredible. The Tandoori chicken was melt in your mouth good and I particularly liked the mango pudding and Marsala chai for dessert. Give it a shot! You won’t regret it.

Being a huge fan of Indian cuisine, I decided to try this restaurant for the lunch buffet. The service is excellent, the place is very clean, and the food is absolutely amazing. There is a very prominent cilantro taste which I love. The ingredients are fresh. The only issue I had was that there are no prices posted anywhere about the cost of the buffet. I was a little shocked at the $33 price tag for two lunch buffets with sodas. A bit pricey for lunch. So when visiting, be prepared for a wonderful meal, but also for the price tag.
I've eaten a lot of Indian food. The food I ordered here last week was some of the best I've ever had. Great job to everyone. Don't change your Saag recipe! Keep up the great work. This food is worth the wait.

This place has amazing Indian food. We have completely enjoyed every bite we had here. New Indian place to eat at here. My family and I will be back to partake of their buffet for lunch. The staff were excellent. For the hearing impaired it was easy to hear! Make a stop here if you going by the interstate or in the area!!

The food was excellent. The staff were so nice, and super attentive. They were just lovely and made us feel right at home. There were delicious sauces, which added even more variety to an already incredible meal.My entree was so big that I couldn't finish it. If you knew me, you'd understand just how much food they serve you. The food was so good, it made me wish I had two stomachs. Winchester is lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend.

Excellent food! I think it might be a little pricey for lunch time buffets. Two adult buffets with drink was about $33 / 34.00. Was very clean and service was good too. I believe if the lunch a bit cheaper they would get more repeat lunch time customers. Good food, service and clean..we will return

Taj Bistro is a hidden gem of Winchester. They have delicious Indian cuisine with rich, flavorful spices without being overly hot. Our children found food they liked, even though their wasn’t a “kid’s menu.”
