Amazing food and cleaned plates! The restaurant was very clean and had a fun vibe, we came across it driving in to Winchester and couldn’t be happier! The food was well priced and had a unique profile. Highly recommend!

I love indian food - sweet, sour, spicy, stews & rice and fresh bread - what's not to like?Well, when you're accustomed to dishes automatically coming with chutney and rice, a $15-$18 dish seems worth it.Taj bistro is more in the $25 range per person / dish. Fine dining prices, with below average food.

Good Indian cuisine. My wife enjoyed it because it wasn't too spicy. We ordered ahead and it was ready to go quickly.

Called and was told Friday they had a lunch buffet that started at 11 am. Arrived at 11:15 am and there was nothing out on the bar. Walked around the restaurant looking for anyone to talk too. Finally saw someone in the back and they said it would be ready by 11:30 am. At 11:30 still nothing, the waiter said five more minutes. Waited until 11:45 and they had put out mango pudding and bread. Hard to rate food when you can't get any.

I ordered goat curry. Never had goat meat before so definitely a new experience. It was good flavor! Although they left bone pieces on it, and fat, didn't really butcher it. It was somewhat chewy so I have a feeling it could be done better at another restaurant, but hey it's cool that they have it as an option and glad I tried it. For naan I tried to get Lachcha Paratha but waiter said they were out. I then picked the other whole wheat one Tandoori Roti and said they were out. He wouldn't tell me which ones they had when I asked, just read the list off that I'd already read. It was too much trouble so gave up on that one. They have a 3 spice scale and I got the spiciest which was good for me! I had leftovers. The appetizer was pretty good too. It was a relatively fast in and out, on a weekday around 3 or 4. It's a relatively ok Indian place, and just for Winchester to get an Indian place is a win.

I haven't eaten Indian food in a long time. But this place makes you want to eat it all the time. I'm not too much of a spicy fan so I had the mild sauce which was right on the money and amazing. Great staff is the cherry on top.

We've been wanting to try this place and we finally made the trip to Winchester. I've eaten Indian food Most of my adult life and I can tell you the butter chicken here has to be the best I've ever had. Service is so slow but worth it. Samosas, garlic naan -and vegetable Biriyani were good and my husband ordered extra extra extra mild. Will be back for sure!!! We traveled from Georgetown and it's just as easy to come to Winchester!!

I've eaten here on 5 occasions now. Unfortunately this place has slowly went down hill. The lunch buffet was once loaded with many tasty and fresh options. They slowly lowered the buffet options and reheated food which was unacceptablefor the steep price. My last visit the lunch buffet was no longer offered. The food from the menu is good. The portions are on the smaller side but it is tasty. I will no longer make the drive from Georgetown as there are better options in Lex.

I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and always enjoyed my visit. Today I stopped in for carryout. This visit I order the Curry Chicken with rice and onion bread. The Curry Chicken was delicious. I was not super hungry as it was the day after Thanksgiving feast. However, the food was so good that I ate my meal in only a few minutes. ( when you eat at home there is not a big reason to use manners). The rice absorbed the sauce and was delicious. The onion bread was also delicious and complimented the meal nicely. While waiting to pick up my meal I learned that the restaurant was under new ownership and this was their first full week in business. The owner was friendly and offered me a free beverage and a free dessert to go with my meal. I declined as I really did not want a lot of calories. I merely mention this to note that the new owners are super courteous and want to build up their clientele. I would recommend this restaurant and suggest that if you are in the mood for Indian cuisine that you stop by and give this establishment a try.

Easily on of the best Indian Restaurants in the area! The food is on point everytime and the chicken Tikka Masala is my go-to dish everytime. The beer is really good too! If you ever get curious enough to try it! And the service is quick and nice also! Highly recommend!

This was a good introduction to Indian cuisine at their buffet for me and my family.. My son and I had never had this type of food before. They had (curry, ginger, cilantro, cumin type) spicy and spicy hot (like jalapeno and ghost pepper) items on the buffet, as well as a variety of sauces. The hot pita/naan/flatbread served at the table (I'm not sure of the exact title?) was very good. It was a nice way to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

Great food at a reasonable price! Clean restaurant. Friendly and attentive service! Server was awesome and made some seriously good recommendations. We will be back to sample some more of their menu. The Naan(?) bread was amazing!

The buffet was hot and fresh, constantly being restocked! The servers were VERY kind. There were several people around to make sure we had everything we needed, but we didn't have 1 sole person wait on us and that's very okay to us! We actually kind of like the space provided when someone isn't constantly coming up to you. The server did give us a "tip" which is to try a different kind of naan every time we come. I loved the variety of the buffet and feel this is a great way to start to learn which dishes you like. Everything had a lot of veggies and was very flavourful, as Indian food is. The buffet was a bit pricy, but it's a solid option to try. The only thing I did not enjoy was the Thai tea, which is something I usually enjoy very much. I did love to see an employee rolling naan as we came in- delicious! You can order carry out. They have great hours and amble parking. The decor was still up from the bqq restaurant, which we found to be quite amusing in tandem with the smell of curry and sound of Indian music.
