I was lucky enough to catch them on a slow day. I was able to try most of their moon shines and their rye whiskey. I'm not usually a rye guy but this was a very good rye. The sweet potato based moonshine was delicious. The apple pie, peach and vanilla variants were even better! This was easily the best shine I've ever had. I was given a personal tour of the distillery from the head distiller and learned how they're able to reuse the byproducts of the distillery...
Visiting KT from PA we were just driving through the area trying to kill a rain day and stopped at the distillery. The road was closed for construction and the distillery was also closed with a sign saying to stop at the market on main street. Zach happened to walk in the market behind us and went above and beyond opening the distillery, explaining the process and giving us a tasting. He was like talking with an old friend and wasn't in a hurry to get us out. We were treated...
