Really Enjoyed our meal, or server was very kind and helpful. Our food was so good and the cheesecake was very good. If I had only one criticism it would be management getting onto one of the servers and telling them to hurry up as this should have not been done in front of customers. this is not a stab at the restaurant as we are all human and sometimes get overwhelmed when we get busy with that we will definitely come back again.

The food is great. The heat/spice warnings are serious, and there are accompaniments at the table to tweak the spice and flavor. The servers give excellent guidance on spice levels.

You can easily adjust spice level on most dishes with the spice caddy at the table. Delicious food and amazing service. The bakery area is also incredible.

Chef Kat has created the most authentic and welcoming Thai restaurant in the city - likely the state and potentially the country! Authenticity and passion for excellence comes together at All Thai'd Up. If you can enjoy spicy at its upper limits some of Kat's 5-chili dishes are off-the-charts great - my favorite being the Pad Grapow (chicken basil). It has amazing flavor and depth, and pairs perfectly with a couple of ice-cold Singha Beers (difficult to find in Louisville). Also, make sure you save room for dessert. I love her Carrot Cake, while my wife is partial to the Thai Tea Cheesecake. Kat also has some new baked goods by the entrance - don't miss them! Some fantastic goodies you'll want to be sure to take home and enjoy.

Have been here a few times now, we have not had a bad dish. Stoplight curry is a perfect take out meal. The crab-in curry stir fry and the 1/2 duck option 1 are two of the best dishes in any restaurant in the city. The chef is very willing to talk to you about the menu and her food culture which makes the restaurant feel like home.
DO NOT listen to the reviews about personalizing spice levels, they seem to misunderstand how restaurants work.
Get the duck!

The Pu Pad Pong Karee/crab in curry stir fry is one of my favorite dishes in the city. So good!

“The owner said you probably should not come back,” was the final inappropriate comment and reason for my first and hopefully only negative review. As a DC working professional and a native of Louisville, my parents have been talking about taking me to this restaurant for several months knowing my love for Thai food.

Our negative experience started almost as soon as we were seated and placed an order for drinks and soup. When our drinks arrived and we placed an order for food, we taken aback by an extremely rude demeanor and short responses from our waitress like “well, I don’t speak Thai” when asking about main dishes when ordering. When our Tom Kha soup came out, it looked very watered down and like it had almost no coconut milk the way tom kha usually does.

At that point, we decided we had had enough and we were going to leave and pay for what we already received. As I left to use the restroom, I overheard the waitresses speaking very loudly about how “ I don’t care, they absolutely will be paying for everything ordered.” The waitress told us she would have to call the owner to ask what needed to be paid for, and when she brought out the final bill, she left the table with “the owner said you probably should not come back here.”

Even before the comment was made, we knew we were NEVER going to come back to this restaurant. It was that extremely nasty comment that is the reason for this review and an exercise of caution to any future patron dining here. I also notice the owner has a habit of responding and defending the restaurant’s actions in almost every single prior review and regardless of what she says, this review is here to stay. We miss Gasthaus that used to be in this location for DECADES and will only dine at any other Thai restaurant in the city of Louisville in the future.

Have been here previously and the experience was day and night. Yesterday was bad - the staff were very unfriendly, and rude. My wife asked “how do you say this” to pronounce a dish, and the response was “I don't speak Thai”. They all seemed stressed and unfriendly generally, even to others it seemed like. Probably should have left before ordering the meal. The Tom Kha soup was like mop water. At that time we told them we would what we have consumed, but refused to pay for the rest of what wasn't at our table yet. In the end, we were told “the owner said she doesn't want you back here”. We ordered food via DoorDash from another Thai restaurant and the Tom Kha soup consistency was much, much better. Not sure whether the owner not being there, and a larger crowd than previous visit, but this was not a good experience at all.

Took my kids there for my birthday. We didn't like any of the food. 100 bucks I can't get back.

The Pad Thai tasted burnt. It had fried dry tofu plus our protein choice. I had beef and it just wasn't good.

My youngest tried the yellow curry thinking it wasn't spicy but it was so she traded with her sister who got Pad Thai.

My son ordered a pork belly dish. There was hardly any pork and it was not crispy it was soggy with bitter greens.

Terrible birthday dinner.

Enjoyed a nice meal with the family last night. The owner was nice and pleasant as well as the waitress. Definitely a nice spot for a date night and they have a nice drink menu. I may have to try the drink that has bourbon and Thai tea next time we visit. I got all the Thai flavors I was craving. Love the spiciness, sourness, fresh cilantro, umami from the fish sauce in my dishes. Glad we decided to come here instead of the other thai restaurant half of a mile down the road. Would recommend. I wish I can find a thai restaurant in that serves larb though!
