Tonight we were very disappointed in Riverfront. We called in our order and told it would be ready in 30 minutes-ok totally fine!
Get to the restaurant to pick up our order and my husband had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our order. He gets to the truck to check to make sure our order is right and had to go back inside the restaurant twice because items were missing. Get home to eat and our food was completely cold-mind you we live maybe 1/2 a mile down the road so waiting for “fresh” food for 30 minutes should still be hot when we get home. Needless to say, my husband waited for 30 minutes inside to have our food sitting in the kitchen the whole time ready to go.
Overall this was not a great experience and hopefully next time Riverfront does better.

We usually love Riverfront. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten food from there. We got our order to go tonight. It was very disappointing. Some of my family ate fried shrimp. It was not butterflied (cleaned) properly. I didn’t finish my grilled catfish. It is not what it used to be. The bread pudding was not good. It is not worth the money. My husband’s cheesecake was $8. Honestly, it’s only worth $3.😔

Everyone raves about Shucks but Riverfront blows them away everyday! Great food and great service.
Good food, service, and views. They have indoor seating, screened patio seating, and outdoor seating. The onion rings were delicious, as was the gouda chicken.

My cousin and I had a day out and decided to stop in to have lunch at the Riverfront restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere were A+. My cuz experienced a medical episode and the staff and manager were so accommodating. The manager, Pricilla offered us her prayers and gave me her phone number and ask to keep her undated on my cousin. She even called me back when I left message about my cousin. NOW THAT IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT!!!! The food was to die for, no pun intended. .Thank you guys so much for your help and we (cuz and I WILL be back). Sincerely M. Womack and A Cohn

Brought a group of 18 family members and friends to Riverfront to lunch today. We really enjoyed the food, and especially the fine service rendered by Sage and the other folks who help serve us. Sage was attentive to detail, friendly and efficient. They have a fine employee that young woman.
My fiancé made reservations for my birthday aug 2 as we do ever year. The person agreed with av6 pm but when we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation for a table at window view but didn’t get it. We took another table and ordered appetizers and then we both ordered the fried catfish and crawfish etoufe. The main dish was awful. The fried fish was covered with the crawfish and a scoop of white rice was next to it. I was unrecognized as fried catfish after being soaked in the crawfish It I was the worst looking main dish I had ever seen. We eat out often at seafood restaurants in Acadians and this was very disappointing. Presentation is very important in restaurants but overlooking the presentation the catfish was not what one expects at a local seafood restaurant We took some home in go boxes but when I got home I tossed it. The wait service was good except for the reservation problem. I suggest you rethink the presentation of the dish we ordered. We really expected better for. Nearly $100 spent that nigh. You have beautiful place and I regret having to let you know about our experience.
