I'm disappointed. They charged me $20 for a dish of rice, 3 pieces of fish, and 5 shrimp. The menu said $7.99, and it only mentioned adding rice. The cashier said it was $13.99 with rice, but then added another $4.99 to my bill. I asked him about it, and he said it was for the shrimp. Very bad experience.

We decided to drop off of if I-55 north going home to Mississippi to buy boiled crawfish from this store because I had seen their Facebook ads. We ask for 11 pounds of crawfish and they were supposed to be $3.99 a pound. The guy that rang us up tried to charge me $2.99 for a $1.29 bag of Elmer’s Cheetos of which I had 4 bags and I caught it right away and that had my attention off of what he rang up for the crawfish! Once I went out and started looking at my ticket I saw he charged us $48.00 instead of $43.89!! When I went back in the store to ask him about it, he said, “it was for 12 pounds of crawfish!” We only ordered 11. He rang it up on the phone calculator to show me that it was for 12 pounds and he charged me $4.00 a pound and had the nerve to act like it was ok that he did that!! I told him that you don’t give people what you want them to have but what the customer ordered. All he said was sorry!! Now, for the worst part! The crawfish was reboiled! 3/4 of our crawfish was so overcooked that we could hardly peel them. The seasoning was on point but we noticed there were quite a few of them that were not seasoned at all!! How could that happen??? We will NEVER go to Buddy’s Amite store again and will make sure everyone we know that travels this area will know not to stop in there. Shame on you for this unethical business practice!!’

Buddy’s boiled seafood is the best seafood around town! As well as the customer service. The prices are right for the season. They get you in and out in a timely fashion, please be patient with the staff as they are trying their best to get to everyone quickly.
