Usually a good spot to go but they can be pretty inconsistent. Sometimes the products seem a bit old and crusty so possibly selling things left over from the precious day. Last time I got a cannoli the filling was so dry it may have been made by Ramses II. Apple fritters are some of the worst I've had. That said it is quick and friendly service and sometimes you get lucky and the food is good too. Prices are a bit high but not completely beyond reason.

i tried the apple turnovers and they were delicious. the apple filling tasted really fresh which i didn’t expect since it was not too long before they closed. the person who greeted me was really nice and friendly too!

I’m so disappointed. My fiance skipped over the donut places in Hammond that never disappoint because I told him how much I missed and loved Coopers. The donuts were disgusting to the point I had to spit it in my hand, my daughter grabbed one and was following me to the trash. (See photo) I called, the owner of 3 generations answered and he apologized but that wasn’t enough for me. I’ve been eating their donuts since I was a little girl and I’ve never tasted anything so disgusting of all my years going there. A free fresh donut would have been a nice gesture but just an unfelt “I’m sorry”. Wow. Started my day off bad and made my guy feel kinda bad for wasting gas, time, and money on donuts from yesterday.
