I got the chilie rellino and the shrimp were mushy at the bottom... The avocado salad had 2 pieces of avocado. The waiter did not know what deveined shrimp was. And from 12pm to 11am I have thrown up like I'm in an execisim and diarrhea every single hour. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. I HAD TO CALL IN FROM WORK. Food has standards but it's not here anymore. Maybe 12 years ago. But if you want to eat then be sick go here. Omg I'm so sick atm I want to die.

I have always enjoyed eating here, but their takeout quality is terrible. I have come home twice to my to find missing entrees and sides. They provide the bags sealed up. Should I really have to unpack everything at the bar to check if my order is complete? I paid $100 including tip and lost at least $20 in missing food.

Last time I do takeout, or I will open everything at the bar.

The food was good. The cheese dip was very small for a large. The prices were higher than most places, but the food was delicious.

Best Mexican food ever. Go well out of your way to try this. You will eat too much because it’s that good.

The food and service was great. The chips were crispy and the salsa was flavorful. The fried ice cream is big enough to feed a small family for dessert. Highly recommend.

Great place for lunch. It beats Hammond and Ponchatoula for food and service. It wasn't busy Thursday lunchtime so didn't have much atmosphere. Plenty of space and very colorful all over. I had the pastor wrap (not a preacher) which was so good.

The best Carreta on the Northshore, too bad you need to go to Amite. Quesadilla on the appetizers menu was the bomb.

This place was incredible....a long time ago, but everything has gone completely down hill the last few times I was there. The place that was once jam-packed and filled with laughter and satisfied customers is now a sad and empty place. They still have a few loyal customers, but it's not at all what it used to be. Did they get a new manager, or hire all new wait staff...? I don't know, but it's just, meh.

This has to be one of the best Mexican restaurants that I've been to. The fried shrimp baja tacos are awesome! Enjoyed it immensely!

My favorite place to hang out or eat, eat, eat! Drinks, snacks or dinning here you can’t go wrong.
