Ordered something waited 20 minutes for them to tell me the machine didn’t work. Don’t waste your time here drive 30 minutes to the next McDonalds.

I am writing to report a concerning incident that occurred at your Amite City location. On 5/6/25, I was at your restaurant to address an incorrect order. After completing my payment, I briefly placed my wallet on the counter, and it subsequently went missing.
The Amite Police Department was called, and my wallet was unfortunately discovered in the restroom trash can. Regrettably, the cash, credit cards, driver's license, and potentially other items were missing.
Both myself and the responding police officer requested to view the security camera footage to understand what happened, but our request was denied by the staff.
I believe McDonald's has a responsibility to ensure both customer safety and food quality at its locations, and in this instance, I feel this location failed in both aspects. The manager on duty did not offer any apology for the situation. Furthermore, after contacting the general manager, I was also met with no further resolution.
I look forward to your response and a resolution to this matter.

Ice machine was very slow dispensing Ice, soft drinks tasted flat (tried both coke dispensers and sprite) food was ok but felt a little sick afterwards. Service was fine, didn't get to interact much with staff. Definitely preferred other fast food places over this McDonald's

This McDonald’s has been consistently going downhill for years but today particularly was the final straw, I’m not returning to this location. Sat in the parking lot for over 30 minutes waiting for an order and received cold food, with half of it wrong. I would have went inside to get it fixed but they had all the doors to inside locked and a non moving drive through. Severely understaffed and most of the staff, not all but most, are extremely rude and unprofessional.

Its not necessarily the employees or the food. It's the same ole additives no nothing special ,no flavor gruel that will fill a void make a tird and kill hunger. It'll keep you alive or it may kill you. Obesity diabetes and all kinds of other health problems can occur from poor diet and bad life styles. No,dont get me twisted. I am not blaming McDonald's at all. It is ultimately everyone's own choices that create all of our problems. I'm ranting. Sorry. I get carried away sometimes because I go to getting on to myself for all of my many shortcomings and vices. I guess that old saying still works. You are what you eat. You get what you put in so put in the good. Always remember to eat less and move more.

My husband went inside to use the restroom and order food not knowing the lobby was closed. The door was unlocked. One of the workers informed him of it being closed. Before my husband could say anything, the manager came from the back yelling and swearing at him telling him he was going to fight him if he didn’t get out of his lobby. I left out the nasty language. My husband walked out and we will never be back at this location. Date 12/21/24 Time around 5:45 am.

Worse McDonalds we have ever been to. We were returning home from a cruise out of New Orleans when we stopped for breakfast. No water in the men's rest room to wash my hands. I wondered if the employees were able to wash their hands. Floor was very greasy and slippery, the drink counter was filthy. Ordered by way of the kiosk since there was no interest shown from any of the employees to take my order at the counter. Took the number to a table and waited at least twenty minutes for some one to shout out our number. I thought they brought the order to you that is why you display the number. Watched the employees for a while as the customers backed up at the counter. None of the employees showed any urgency at taking care of the customer. Some looked lost, some just stood around, not a smile or a thank you could be found. If I hadn't paid with a card I would of asked for a refund and left. What a way to run a business.
Parking: Plenty of parking but sidewalk was dirty.

Waited 30 minutes for them to call my order and they waited another 15 to give it to me, then when i pointed out my order, the worker was absolutely clueless like i was speaking gibberish then got mad at me and had an attitude. I then asked several workers multiple times for a drink that i ordered to which they ignored me so I went behind the counter and made it myself, not even joking either, wish i could put 0 stars!!!

This Mc Donald’s is gross. The floors are so greasy i almost fell several time. The whole place needs a deep cleaning.
