This was my first visit. The service and food were both great. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. The menu is full of different options.

Yesterday me and my friends decided to have a birthday dinner there and i mean the service n food was horrible. My food had to be sent had to the kitchen because the chicken was hard which I order choo choo chicken … the egg rolls was not that good… and the person that gave us our food had an very bad attitude… we had to use plastic utensils because you can clearly see they do not wash their utensils… they charge us for have an large party never heard of that before then when i did have to send my food back the manger was kinda like she got offended and i feel like she ain’t like that… It had a person in the kitchen that showed up to work with their pajamas on…

If you like wasting money, small food portions, and poor customer service, then this is the place for you! We ordered our usual: Seafood pesto was mostly pasta. We had to stir the pasta around to look for the seafood. Pick 2 fried platter had soggy, partially undercooked fish. 2 sides of fried okra that barely covered the bottom of the container at $4 each. The fries were good, but there were so few. it appeared to be from a small child's plate. Smaller portions, but not smaller prices. Finally, we weren’t informed of, yet charged a 5% to go fee. We picked our food up right inside the restaurant. I contacted Boston’s privately to inquire about the above, yet was ignored. They left me no choice, but to bring it to the public’s attention. Check your food portions and receipt for bogus fees before leaving!!! Shame on Boston’s as my family and I WERE regulars to this establishment. I wonder if the owner is aware of what is going on at his establishment?

I wrote a review back in November 2019 and LOVED this place. I've been back 3 times in the last year and decided there won't be a 4th. Covid hasn't affected this restaurant. There are still lines of people waiting to get in. The service was bad, and once it was just plain horrible. 15 minutes just to get our check so that we could leave. Food quality was still OK, but 4 of us ordered the same steak medium well, and 2 were disgustingly bloody and the plates were full of juicy blood. I never send a steak back, but this time I had to. The manager came, took both plates, and returned to the kitchen I assume. Less than three minutes later, both steaks returned looking exactly the same. We didn't eat them but opted to take them home and 1 minute in the microwave made them perfect for my taste. I bragged about The Boston in the past, but not any more. Mike's Catfish about a mile away is now rated #1 in Amite (formerly #2), and I fully understand why. We eat at Mike's often because they're much cheaper and have NEVER had a bad meal or experience there. I haven't tried Mike's steaks, but everything else has been wonderful. Sorry Boston. I want a divorce.

Girl’s day of shopping and hanging out. We at lunch at The Boston. I had the sushi ?. The rolls consisted of: California, Spicy Cruncy and Vegetable Rolls. I also had the seaweed salad and tea. The food was really good.

The best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever eaten.. the 30 oz steak is melt in your mouth tender. It will feed multiple people, it fed my husband and I ate 3 times on the leftovers. The Asian food is delicious also.. as you can see I’m a fan of the Boston.. this place is a surprise in the (no longer) small town of Amite..

Waited for over an hour and a half for a party of five and we watched several parties that came in after us get seated. When we asked the hostess about how much longer we were rudely told another hour. The food isn’t bad but definitely not worth a 2.5 hour wait with unfriendly host staff. Save your time and money and eat elsewhere.

We ordered take-out during a recent stay in Amite and while the food was tasty (even the sushi, which was shockingly good), we almost had a panic attack entering the restaurant to pick it up. We had to fight through a PACKED bar area--where everyone was shoulder-to-shoulder and maskless (whether they were eating/drinking or not)--to get to the food pick-up area. Half the staff were wearing their masks down around their chins or under their noses, and capacity was certainly being exceeded. As I said, the food was quite tasty, but even wearing two masks apiece, we were quite nervous for the 5 minutes we were inside the building.

A great experience for our anniversary. Seared tuna and fried green tomatoes for our appetizer (haha what a combo). Wife had the New Orleans Saints roll, which was excellent. I had the Boston burger, again excellent. Be prepared for a wait, especially with capacity limited, as the place is very popular.

My girlfriend and I drove about an hour to have dinner here. We ordered the crawfish cheese dip and a sushi roll. It was awesome. For entree's I orders the combo bowl and the fried rice was crunchy! I sent it back to have it remade and again the same thing!!! Hard crunchy rice. It was terrible. Ordered something without rice for the third time. After waiting for almost an hour to get edible food I took it to go and left. Not sure if I’ll ever be back. I’ve loved this place for several years but this was a big disappointment.

Been pleased dining here since it opened. Owner Joseph Wong is usually working at lightning speed preparing sushi orders behind the sushi display. We've always had great service and food but we do know most everyone by name including the bartenders. An excellent dining choice!!!

Stopped in while visiting area for lunch on a Saturday. It was first weekend open for inside seating. We only had short wait. All employees wearing masks due to Corona virus restrictions. Our table was far from other patrons. Food was excellent. Service was great. Burgers were awesome! Others had Asian dish, grilled chicken, hamburger steak. All enjoyed their meal. Nice atmosphere with beautiful decor.
