2 times I go there and they are so not friendly. Both times I bought coffee beans to grind fine and both times they were coarse. Made very weak coffee. Why don’t they have Columbia coffee. Very dissatisfied.

I love that Amite has a coffee shop. And I love sitting at a coffee shop to get work done. Unfortunately, I can no longer do so at the Amite location. It's simply too cold inside. Freezing on the inside. The temperature is always at 65 degrees or below. A/C constantly running. Why?! Shows a lack of understanding of what it means to best serve customers. There's other questionable customer service activities. I've tried to endure the cold and support local business, but I simply can no longer do so. I wear a jacket every visit. And still freezing. Not a little cold. Extremely cold. I'm headed to a coffee shop in Hammond as we speak. Unfortunate. There's a serious LA k of awareness at the location. Perhaps it's the teenage workers, that can naturally have a lack of awareness or experience. But I would hope management would be on top of customer service activities. Doesn't seem to be the case.

I do not recommend the Amite PJ’s location. They only make what’s pre made right. My girlfriend got a coffee and there were clumps of the powder they put in there and it’s not like there was just a little bit it all settled to the bottom. I asked for an iced white chocolate latte made as velvet ice. I get it from any other pjs just fine every time. But every time I come to this location it always taste terrible. My girlfriend’s drink always comes out the same and she gets something different every time. I only had a good coffee from there once. That’s because the “owner” was there. She was awesome. But some of her employees just aren’t trained right at all.

I’ve visited the Amite location several times and each time the food and drinks are hit or miss. They are constantly out of stock on certain food items and if they do have them when you get it(scone or cookie) it’s hard as a rock! The hot drinks are never as hot as they should be, which doesn’t make for a pleasant experience. The Amite location is really mediocre, honestly I’d rather just take the 20 minute drive to Hammond for a more pleasant experience.

I order Pjs nearly everyday and it infuriates me to spend $15 on the same order and it tastes nothing like the same. My granita isn’t sugar free caramel and it has this separation and weird foamy consistency that won’t mix, and to top it off my croissant is ice cold (which you can feel through the paper) so I have to go home and heat it.
Look I LOVE PJs…it’s one of the few indulgences I have…BUT I cannot continue to pay >$9 for a drink that is NOT what I order…the last 4-5 times I’ve been there when my drink comes out it has chocolate syrup either in it or on it…when I order it’s a VERY SPECIFIC ORDER…a large Mocha Velvet Ice with 2 extra shots of espresso (yes 2 in addition to the 1 that is already part of the drink), whipped cream, BUT NO CHOCOLATE SYRUP AT ALL…no drizzle…nada…NO CHOCOLATE SYRUP!!! I’ve gotten chocolate syrup in all of the drinks I’ve ordered usually I don’t notice because it’s at the bottom waiting for me to get a HUGE amount on my first sip as I’m driving to work or at least a ways away from the store…YES I could bring it back but especially if I’m headed out of town or to work I just don’t have the time…if I’m headed home I just don’t have the inclination…DO NOT WANT TO STOP PATRONIZING PJs…but I CANNOT AFFORD TO KEEP PAYING FORCDRINKS I END UP THROWING AWAY BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO SWEET…and chocolatey!!!

Placed online order before 8am to pick up at 8:30am. Arrived 8:15ish.First, the negatives.No greeting by barista who looked me square in the eye (super weird). Told him I was there for the 8:30 pickup order. Nobody else in the dining room. One car in drive thru. Yet order wasn’t ready until almost 8:40.Other notes: Barista constantly scratching his head with bare hands while making drinks isn’t cool. Restroom was very dirty. We’re visiting from out of town and this is our second stop at this location (first was drive through yesterday and it took over 20 minutes then to get our drinks then).Positives.Drinks are absolutely delicious!
