The black hair server is so rude. And my Coffey is so watery ... Twice made i can't force my self to drink it. That was the worst visit to pjs I ever had. I'm not sure if the owner even cares. They need help. The bakery machine is broken too. I got a refund. Cant go back for a while

Two days in a row I go to this PJs, hoping that the first day was a fluke. I get an iced coffee with light ice. It has so much ice in it that I literally get two sips of coffee. The coffee wasn’t the greatest tasting I just assume it was the barista. I go back today and ask for no ice because yesterday I only got two sips of coffee. They charge me an extra $1.50.. no big deal but the coffee tasted terrible. It was so bitter and the barista was so rude. I will not be going back.

I don’t know why I continue to come to this location, it’s always disappointing from the greeting to the flavor of drinks to the cold croissants they pass out!! Just go get a cold Starbucks glass bottle from RaceTrac!!

Never in my 30 years of life have I seen a business fail to get my order right as consistently. No exaggeration 9 times out of 10, they will completely miss hear everything you told them. It’s actually impressive that they’re still in business. Also it’s a 50/50 chance that your coffee will even be drinkable. Sometimes it’s so bitter, it taste like rubbing alcohol. They never mix it up for you. The times that it is drinkable, it never taste the same. Get it together it’s really bad.
Edit: we have returned multiple times since we left this negative review, I don’t know if it’s good luck or if they’ve actually made some changes but the quality and consistency seem to be a lot better.

Solid 3 stars simply because it's PJ'S COFFEE! But it's was my first time revisiting my home town PJ'S in 3 years, the drinks were not spot on or well made and it's the same order we get at every other PJ's.
Still excited to try it again one day though 🙂↕️

I always go back in hopes of the coffee to be good and the breakfast foods heated all the way up but today I've went for the last time. I really used to love it here. I feel like the managers and workers from the PJs in downtown Hammond by Tommy's Pizza could really give the Amite location some classes on improving on the service.
I have been to so many coffee places around the South, including in Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. This is probably the worst coffee I've ever had in my life. I got the Southern Wedding Cake BTW.

One of the worse PJs locations on the northshore. I keep thinking management will change something and I keep giving it a chance but nothing has changed. Same terrible service and terrible coffee. Literally any other PJs is better than this one. This location is the black sheep.

I went inside to order & the young lady working was swamped with a long line of people ordering. She was kind, professional and working fast even under the pressure of all the customers.
Coffee was great too.

Wish I could give this coffee stop a zero. If you are traveling from out of town warning, you may want to skip this one. My husband and I went in the young man working was very frustrated throwing things into the sink huffing and puffing. We stood there for over 8 minutes. He would never acknowledge us or speak, even after I spoke to him. After waiting and never being acknowledged, we walked out. So disappointing. We have a coffee shop like this in Ridgeland, Mississippi and it’s excellent. Happy people working there! Adding to this review to say if you go about 2 miles south down the road on university Avenue at Tifal, there is a wonderful PJs. The staff is friendly. The coffee shop is immaculate and the service is wonderful.

I order DoorDash here, and they don't use a drink bag that's shut, or at least a sticker. Maybe one day they'll order DoorDash and let a Dasher drink out of their cup... Only one time has my order been sealed or bagged at this location.

I reached out to corporate around this time last year and unfortunately never heard back, which was extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues I had was receiving a breakfast sandwich that was frozen in the middle. After that experience, I stopped ordering food and only continued getting iced coffees.
I’m a very patient customer and I don’t mind waiting for mobile orders, especially since I was told the store doesn’t see the order until I arrive, but my last few trips, they’ve had my drink ready at the window, which I appreciated. So I’m not sure which is true . However, during my most recent visit (Sunday evening), there were no other customers in line and no other cars at the drive-thru. Despite that, I still waited quite a while.
When I finally received my drink, it was one of the worst protein velvet ices I’ve ever had. It was watery, not even filled to the top, and for a $10 drink, that’s just not acceptable. I posted a picture below, although the straw was put in it, I hadn’t even tried it. I feel like it’s normally filled to the top.
I keep coming back because I genuinely enjoy the coffee and want to support the business, but consistency and quality need improvement—especially for the price.
