Just left Popeyes location after waiting in the drive through line for 45 minutes. Finally pull up to speaker to order and was told the system was down and they were not able to take anymore orders. I asked how long have they known because we been waiting in line for a long time she said about 30 minutes I asked why didn’t they have someone standing outside notifying people waiting and she said because there were no workers. This has to be the worst operating Popeyes ever, management is horrible and clearly not very experienced.

Went twice. Order wrong both times. Wait is exceptionally long in drive thru, like 20-25 minutes. Charged for pepper, etc. but received none and no plasticware for red beans and rice. Unprofessional food presentation. Food tasted good just like at any Popeyes.

I ordered a to go order of the Family meal with mild wings and spicy thighs. The manager told be they did not have enough spicy thighs so I told her i would wait. While I was waiting, a large number of customers came in and placed orders. Some of the orders were filled with the chicken in the bin where is it is held and orders are fill from until they were empty. . A tray of Mild and a tray of Spicy was placed in the bin and the manager began filling the orders of those who had come in after me and until the bins were empty. I had been waiting behind the area where orders are taken in plan sight of the manager and those filling orders. After having seen all the orders filled, I stepped up to the order counter and was asked by the lady who had taken my order if she could help me as if i had just come in. I explained I was waiting on my order. The manager then told be it would be 12 minutes until the mild would be ready. When I came in, before I was able to place my order, I had to wait until the staff and manager were finished horsing around in the cash register area to place my order. This store is poorly run. Based on how I was handled, it should be rated one dot (terrible), but because the chicken was good I rated it poor.

I only go to Popeye's restaurants in Louisiana, and this was right next to where we were getting gas right after we got to the state. I had my first spicy fried chicken sandwich, with two orders of mac&cheese. It was real tasty and fresh. The staff were very friendly, attentive and fast.

This Popeyes has better service than any other in Louisiana. Always greeted with a smile and welcomed. I have never had to wait for chicken to be fried here. Give them a try you will like it.
