The only reason I left one star is zero wasn’t an option. I pulled in at 8am on Wednesday the 19 of march at the drive through and gave my order. Another girl came on the intercom and asked what my order was. I told her & then she told me they were not taking any orders that morning. The place has a for sale sign out front. I hope the next owner sells smoothies and doesn’t pay people to tell you they can’t take your order.By the way, it was 1 smoothie. Not a large crazy order & no customers where inside. Unbelievable!

One of the workers was sitting in the pickup window when I pulled up. After he ran away giggling another worker brought my smoothie and was generally pleasant. After this I asked if I could have some napkins, the original worker boy (same kid sitting in the window) looked at me through the window then giggled and said no but proceeded to grab the napkins anyway. He hesitated to hand them to me for a moment then slowly gave a couple of them to me while giggling and saying “new year new me”. I then asked for the rest of the napkins that he had originally grabbed and he told me I had to “say the magic word”. I’ve had some odd experiences with service before but this one seemed disrespectful in addition to being just a strange interaction. I hope this kid learns how to work with dignity one day.

Manager or self proclaimed "Boss" sent my coworker back from her break crying after she decided to threaten to "Take her to the parking lot" tell her she wasn't allowed to refund her drinks, tell her she wasn't allowed to have a drink tray, lecture her and taunt her for not knowing if she was joking or not, just because my coworker said the F-word in her conversation asking if this lady was tired from her shift; the "boss" also claimed she "cussed her out" and has proceeded to block two of our managers who have tried to get to the bottom of this, (She is pale with long black hair, a warning for anyone who has any cuss words in their vocabulary) she also asked if our place of work would give her discounts on food orders, when my coworker told her she can't do that, she proceeded to tell my coworker she wasn't going to give her her smoothies then.

Went there this past Friday evening and they had a few young church kids in there no more than 8 to 10… I sat in the drive thru window for over 30 minutes and they never even opened the window.. so I drove off.
I ordered a choc-a-laka, a lil angel, and a 20 ounce vegan Dark choc banana. I was asked to repeat my order. Not a problem. I pulled forward, paid, and while I was waiting, I looked at my receipt and realized that it was for 2 choclaka and a 32 ounce vegan dr choc. I decided to let the wrong size on vegan dr choc slide even tho it was much more than I could drink. When I told the worker I had ordered a lil angel not two choclakas he started acting like this was my mistake. And I pointed out that maybe there was an issue hearing since he had asked me to repeat the order. He said it was hard to hear with the blenders running. And then he said “I have already made the two chocalakas, didn’t I just want them”. Uh sir? You obviously have never raised little girls. They want what they ordered. I had to tell him twice I wanted the lil angel. He acted really put out about it. The mistakes he made were honest but the attitude in which he handled them was unacceptable. I know a surly teen when I see one. I think I can find somewhere better to spend my $19.64.

I stopped at amite city smoothie king waited in line for 10 minutes with only two cars infront of me and one car at window I back up to see what was taking so long I pulled back up to give my order lady said please wait I said ok but I waited and waited so I said can you take my order she said no I am on break now and we can’t take orders when we are on break. I said I have been here 15 minutes burning gas she said well I am on break . so I back up to go inside and order but door was lock two other people walk up and try to go in to order and left because door was lock I can see a lady in there making smoothies . I can’t believe this service I drove 15 minutes to get there 15 to 20 minutes waiting and my gas for them to tell me I am on break not happy

Apparently girl sits in her car until she has a customer. Placed app order and when I drove around to pickup window she comes in from her car to make it. Even posted a drive thru only sign on the door so there would be no walk ins.
