The Boston has been our favorite restaurant for the past 5-6 years. We travel an hour and 15 minutes to eat there. The food has always been delicious. For the last two years I’ve driven there and purchased $250 worth of gift cards. Last night, my husband and myself and another couple had dinner there. They had received a gift card for $50 and gave it to the waiter when they paid their check. He came back and said he was sorry, but their machine wasn’t reading their card. ??????? Is that my friends’ fault? He tried again and came back and repeated that it wasn’t working and the owner, Joseph, said “What do you want me to do about it?” My friends are much nicer than me. I would have had the manager come over and explain how they were going to fix this issue. He didn’t even feel the need to come apologize for this or act as if he cared. We don’t be back and I surely won’t be purchasing gift cards from there anymore. Very disappointed in how this was handled last night!

It was our 16th Anniversary and decided to stay local insteak of going to Covington. We ordered steak and garlic potatoes.
My food came to the table cool. The potatoes were not only cool but truly hard and dry. The steak tasted good but it was not hot. The waitress was great, I think her name was Kaylee. She offered to have it sent back but I always fear doing that, but I reluctantly did. My husbands food was the same but he just dealt with it. When it came back the potatoes were obviously nuked because they were definitely hot but harder and more dry than before. The steak was still cool but I just took it home and gave the potatoes to the dog. We were truly disappointed and I'll know better than ordering food that supposed to be hot. Maybe I'll stick to sushi. Won't be back anytime soon.

Way over priced for the quality of food. the okra is slimy, chicken Alfredo has little to no flavor, Cajun pasta just tastes like an overcooked spicy tomato and even the fortune cookies were stale

Service was terrible. We went around 3pm this evening. Wasn’t extremely busy. Our waitress had one other table besides ours. Took almost two hours to eat. It was almost thirty minutes between each time she checked on us. I wouldn’t say anything normally because I know wait staff can sometimes be behind the scenes doing other things. Our server was chit chatting at the counter by the drink fountain with other staff. We had to ask multiple times for a booster seat, to go boxes and desert. Every time our server would walk off and return to ask if we needed anything else only for us to repeat what we had already asked for the first time. I never leave reviews. To be honest the food wasn’t bad. It was the other elements of our experience that are the reason we won’t be returning.

The atmosphere was really upbeat, vibrant music, and it was more enjoyable and relaxing.

My daughter brought me here. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The FOOD was delicious. The manager (Ginnifer) is very special to my heart ❤️. I hope to make a return visit soon!!!

Stopped by on my way home from NOLA with my mom—this place was awesome! The hostess was super nice, our server was extremely helpful and made sure everything was correct, and the food was delicious. Their menu is pretty unique, and I wish we had more time to try a few more things, but will definitely keep this place in mind while traveling! Really enjoyed the staff showing my mom some love on her birthday too! Thanks for a great experience!
