the good food they have especially the catfish it is delicious but also they got homemade tea and it's fresh their burgers are great too

I really hate to out anybody's secrets but in this case it must be done. The hamburger patties are SOY patties and the worst part is the jokes on you until you take a bite and flash back to elementary school hamburger day in the cafeteria. Other than that it wasn't to bad but buyer beware on the burgers.

We go out there to eat and I have t and say, the catfish is the best. In fact, we have friends coming from Alexandria so we're eating there tomorrow. The service is quick and friendly. It's very clean. The prices are not bad. There's nothing bad to be said!

Called for a solid hour after they opened to place a take out order and no one ever answered!! Double checked days and hours of operation and yes they were opened.

We came to Louisiana to eat catfish and they had it! We got there about twenty or thirty minutes before closing time and the girl said that they were closed. I thought that was strange since they were cooking frantically and people were sitting in the dining room. She explained that the closing time is based on when the order will be ready and not when it is ordered. That was strange. But, this is Louisiana and they pride themselves in not following the conventions of the rest of the world. She did change her mind when we told her that we would take it to go and cooked us some huge plates of fried catfish. The coleslaw and French Fries were also very good.

This little "hole in the wall" place does a tremendous takeout cause the seating is limited. If you get luck enough to get a table then order the catfish. The catfish is cut into thin strips that are seasoned and cooked to perfection. Just the way I like them. They apparently remove the dark streak that can give a fishy taste cause this catfish is awesome. The hush puppies were the best ever and for $0.30 each you can order more. They are also seasoned well and apparently homemade with just a slight jalapeí±o taste as well. LOVED THEM. Loved the coleslaw as well. My seasoned fries were not hot but we were a party of nine and I can forgive anything for perfect catfish. The locals apparently like the hamburgers since I saw a lot of them in the takeout bags.
