I’m assuming they were upset because I wanted vegetables only. Not a fan of “meats”. So someone in the background decided to get smart, and proceeded to tell them to hang up. And the person answered the phone did just that. I am tickled. You can’t be mad at me because I don’t want a full meal. Not everyone eats that way.

I'm from Haughton and ate here this past Tuesday. I had red beans and rice, cabbage, mash potatoes and hot water cornbread. It was great and our waitress was super nice. I recommend that if you haven't been there you need to go.

The food was honestly disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed were the eggs they were good. The grits, however, were loaded with butter and tasted awful. The hashbrowns were greasy and had no seasoning. I also tried a slice of cake, but it was hard and tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator too long. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Maybe the locals like it, but for me, it was a terrible experience.

We have had both breakfast and lunch here on multiple occasions and each time the food and the service has been outstanding! Especially to my personal liking are their fried eggs. Consistently perfectly cooked at “over medium” which is actually pretty amazing. Last but certainly not least is their pricing! Truly the last bastion of value to be found anywhere in the area!! Great folks, thank you for your efforts!

Lunch alone at Sharon’s and I was pleasantly surprised! I had the daily lunch which consisted of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes w/gravy, purple hull peas, macaroni and cheese, hot water corn bread, ice tea, and banana pudding. The food was delicious, serving sizes were adequate, service was great and the most surprising part was that all this for $10.00 including taxes! Easily $12.00 - $15.00+ anywhere else in the area. Highly recommended!

My husband and I split a breakfast burrito and pancakes. We couldn't finish them they were so big! So good and plenty of food!
