Last time I went they put the gumbo rice on the bottom.

Hadn't been since covid and I wish I would have kept it that way. Customer service was HORRIBLE, after you place your order and look for your table you are served your food and you are on your own for your utensils, cup and whatever else you need. I had to walk to the kitchen just to get a cup cause the girl that I got my plastic utensils from was bussing the tables and the girl that took my order wasn't there anymore.

The food wasn't worth the $25 I paid the only thing that was good were the fries. My shrimps were hard and veggies were not seasoned so I went to the hostess to send back for a side salad and she told me I would have to pay $5. I was so aggravated I just walked off and went finish my french fries. I miss those old days when you had to wait in line to be seated, the waitresses were very attentive and the food was good

Just disappointing all around. First it really looks run down and smelled of old cigarette smoke and just reminded me of an old crappy diner. Secondly you really can not sit down and order from the menu, you have to order and pay. The problem I had with that is the menu is hard to see especially on the wall. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, and the crawfish pie for apptizers. We both ordered the chicken fried steak with French fries and potato salad. We weren't seated the lady just told us to sit at table 4 which we had to go find ourselves. There was hardly any one there and we had one of the smallest tables. We didn't realize we had to get out own drinks until the appetizers came. The boudin egg rolls were alright and the crawfish pie was really nothing special. The chicken fried steak really didn't have any taste and was greasy. The potato salad had frozen potatoes in it and again no flavor. We were really disappointed which is sad because it use to be a good restaurant. Now it is just a rundown down place with disappointing food.

I have been here before and I normally get an experience, normally, that is a normal stroll up the ramp to order my food. However, this was a little different, since at 6:00 pm I arrived and - as of current - have spent roughly 34 minutes in line. Not sure about how busy it gets - and I am willing to wait and be patient - but it shouldn't take this long to be in line.

Otherwise: good food and good times. Just really need to work on managing the loads for dine-in (and possibly take-out).

This place is a great spot for a quick meal for a great value! The food is good, the prices are great, and the service is quick and friendly. You can't get much better than this for a good, quick, cheap meal!

Values are always available. The burger is pretty good, the fried shrimp are decent for the price & the tartar sauce is very good, & the fries are always crisp. That’s as far as I have gone on their menu which is loaded with options. For the area, it fills the late evening void since most everything outside of “fast” food places are done by 830pm.

Seafood gumbo was great. Do NOT buy the frozen shrimp stew, taste like garlic and dried shrimp. Whoever cooked the gumbo needs to cook the shrimp stew.

Ordered the shrimp poboy. Huge mistake! Actually; coming here is an even bigger mistake. Table of 4 and the best anyone had to say was that their food was edible. I returned my food and refused to take anything else in return. PLEASE NOTE...NO REFUNDS. Even when they serve you freezing cold bait shrimp and make you wait 45 minutes for it. Cold fries. Watered down tea. My companions seafood gumbo tasted like literal dirt. Do yourself a favor and just skip this place if you actually want to eat!

The restaurant inside the casino is now an All You Can Eat Buffet. It is $25.00 the menu can be found posted on the Face Book page of Cypress Bayou Casino & Hotel. The menu changes, so be sure to check their webpage or FB page

Variety limited and smaller portions, but the food is still good.

There is no Cafe Delphine. They shut it down along with others in Cypress Bayou Casino .This casino is a shell of what it was. They should just shut the whole thing down.

Cafe Delphine has been closed since Covid started. Was a great place to eat.
