LA 23 BBQ is a phenomenal place to eat, a "MUST EAT" spot with amazing BBQ that's a must-try before leaving the area. The service is fantastic and quick. Their brisket burrito is the best, and the cheddar sausage is a delicious difference from regular sausage. The open air seating on the road is quaint. The ribs are delicious, tender, and have the right amount of flavor. The brisket is good and the baked beans are really tasty with extra meat. It is a nice chill spot for some great BBQ, right across the naval base. The smell of Hickory, Oak, and pecan wood burning early in the morning is a sign of the deliciousness that awaits.
