Delish!! The crab cakes were awesome! Plus my wife got a piece of the chocolate peanut butter pie and I don't do dessert but it was great. Definitely a place we would go back to!

This was the first restaurant we went to after arriving in Louisiana. We are traveling and this restaurant gave us a great first impression of the food in the area. I can't express how great the customer service is here. Every person I interacted with met me with a welcoming smile, and were very courteous. The gumbo? Fantastic. The Shrimp? AMAZING. The sweet tea? Best I ever had. That in particular had us coming back the next day, where we took advantage of their snow crab boil meal. We had spectacular waitresses during both visits, one even showed us how to properly open up the crab legs and shrimp (is it obvious we're not from here?) We will 100% be back the next time we find ourselves in the area.

Do yourself a favor…. forget the fancy restaurants and limelights of downtown New Orleans. Go to Zydecos! The seafood is out of this world good!! I had the “crabnet catch”. There is no way one person can eat all the food. Best sweet tea I’ve ever had! Ask for Ashley…. She was an amazing server who made everyone feel like they were her favorite local customer.

The boil with blue crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn are amazing. Unfortunately the fried oyster and shrimp pasta left the husband sick for the rest of the day and part of the next. But everything else was AMAZING.

Went to dine this week and arrived 30 minutes before closing and plenty of open tables. Was told they were not seating anymore or taking any more orders. We arrived earlier and they were on a waiting list. We said we would return later. Very disappointed. If you close earlier than your posted hours, change your hours of operation.
Each visit makes me fall in love with Zydeco’s more! The service is admirable and the food is delicious. My favorite is the Snow Crabs!
No pretense here. Locals come to eat supper, celebrate biirthdays, and enjoy each other's company. They even let us Texans in. Food was great! This is a great place to enjoy your comfort food and forget about your diet. I had the Soft Shell Crabs and they were excellent. The gumbo was the real deal. Mine was the Seafood gumbo so it had crab and shrimp....delicious. A sleeper item is the Hush Puppies. Most are ho hum, but Zydeco's knows how to make them sing. My buddy got the Jambalaya which he said was great.
