glad to find this place, where locals go, had better seafood than at Bourbon St last night, although unless you buy alcohol, they make you pay for bottled water instead of serving you tap water, on top of that they do charge you fees for using cards unless you pay cash, those I wasn’t so impressed
I had the soft shell crab plate the flavor was there, but the crabs ? were way too small. I called them crablets. A little warning would have been nice.

I been coming here since their opening and have always enjoyed the food. Especially the boiled seafood. This visit I ordered the seafood platter, which really is a bargain for what you get. The only thing I would say is the batter that it’s fried in is unseasoned. Like some of the other comments, it’s rather bland. However, the seafood itself is alway fresh.
