On our trip along the Gulf Coast from Ft. Walton Beach, FL. To Corpus Christi, TX. We decided we had to check out Boot Ts in Boutte, LA. What a gem! Everyone was so nice. A perfect local vibe. The daiquiri menu is insane. As always, I went traditional with a pina colada while Sharon went for the white Russian and both were fantastic. We both had the special, shrimp creole, green beans and potato salad. I think everyone in the restaurant ordered the creole. I have to believe that...
I order from Boot T's often. The food is usually good, however I could not have been more disappointed with my order today. Whoever was frying today needs to be properly trained. We ordered the seafood combo. It was so over fried it was it ridiculous. The oysters were so bad that there was no oyster left. It was just a burnt crisp. The shrimp and fish were also way over fried. The fried chicken in my wrap was also burnt. I hate to leave a bad review like this, but my wife...
Got the fried shrimp and fries and the food was absolutely perfect. Staff was very good, it was extremely busy and there was no wait time on anything. Will definitely eat here again!
