The gumbo is amazing. I had grilled shrimp garden salad with feta vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious and big enough for 2 days! My son had the frilled shrimp wrap with onion rings and the bayou sauce. It is a must try! The decor was Victorian and and just beautiful.

Super slow service. Ordered the fried eggplant. Absolutely no seasoning. Very bland. Served with what seemed like marinara sauce straight out of the jar. Then got the spaghetti & meatballs. Again, no seasoning served with same bland jar marinara. Others at my table also didn’t have a good experience. Just all around very very bland food.

Pulled up and should have taken the empty parking lot on Saturday night as a sign. Ordered the fried eggplant and there was absolutely no seasoning in the breading or marinara. Everybody's fries were under cooked and not seasoned. The shrimp and tenders for the kids were not seasoned. I got the chicken alfredo and it was very bland. They must have ran out of seasonings in the kitchen. Absolutely love the decor.

A tale of two restaurants. Went there for lunch 2 months ago, and was impressed. The salads and sandwiches were fine. Then, dinner a few nights ago, and it was not good at all. Very plain food, with no imagination. For example, the "Hearts of Palm" salad with grilled heart of palm and sautéed shrimp, was exactly that - a big wedge of grilled lettuce with about 12 shrimp on top. Truth in advertising, I guess, but many restaurants would add some lagniappe - maybe a sprinkle of Parmesan, a shake of bacon bits, a bit of char on the lettuce, a drop or two of blue cheese. Same with everything else my group ordered - rather plain, not tasty, and uninteresting

Great quaint little Restraunt. They have an awesome chef, and are very accommodating. Owner and staff are very friendly. Food is great and good portions for fair price. Also dinner specials most nights.

I don’t know what happened! I order from here off of Waitr because I work nearby. The first time I ordered everything was great and I was really looking forward to my second order. I ordered the exact same thing. The food arrived cold and soggy and was missing my dipping sauce, even though the request was put in and the food arrived within the given time frame. Then I realized 2 of the chicken tenders (which is half the order) were so raw and pink I had to throw them away. They were the biggest tenders so maybe the cooks checked the smaller ones and thought it was fine? I’m sure they were busy for lunch but not checking to see if proteins are cooked can lead to serious illness! I’d maybe give this place another chance in person during a slower time, but I won’t be ordering for delivery again.

The wife and I eat out 3 to 4 times a week. From New Orleans to Houma. Of all the places we go to we simply love this place and their peps. Their meals are delicious and plentiful. We surly appreciate the prices. Hope To see y'all there and for Catahoulas see y'all again soon.
