It’s A shame when they ask cash or credit on how you paying. Then charge you 2% more for using a debit card instead of cash. Which is the same as cash (debit card) ! Would love to know how they handle their taxes with the cash payments. lol cheat the government but not hard working citizens please!

Awesome little place. Food was great. I got one of each boudin and sausage all were great. Boiled shrimp were good had great flavor but in honesty of a fair review they were on the harder side to peel, you could peel em but you had to be careful with em not to tear the meat in half. However the thing that really stood out to me were the tamales, they were top tier.
Love this little spot in Boutte. I am a fan of grabbing something I need quickly, efficiently, and having it be of high quality. Hebert's checks all those boxes for me. Normally grab some stuff for the house but on this day just grabbed a couple hot boudin for a car ride. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful, and the price was just what I'd expect.Grabbed a pork boudin and a shrimp boudin. Both of them were cased perfectly and had excellent flavor. Both had a bit of a bite to them as far as spiciness, but I personally enjoy that. The pork had a great depth of flavor and the shrimp just tasted fresh and clean. Wonderful experience. The shrimp and gumbo sausage for less than $3 was very filling and tasted amazing. The alligator sausage is also very good. Nice and helpful staff. My new favorite seafood place in New Orleans.
