Waffle House success comes from a consistency of menu. Pretty much all the same at all their locations. All AWESOME! Waffle House workers are friendly and great cooks. I can honestly say I’ve NEVER had a meal that wasn’t SPECTACULAR! And then there’s the Waffle House at 14173 US-90, Boutte, LA. We were on a road trip and needed a bite before the hunger got in the way of enjoying our adventure. Our server was Tamara. Her SMILE and PERSONALITY was like... morning sunlight waking the soul – warm, effortless, and impossibly radiant. Each time she checked on us, offering a warm smile (and a coffee refill), it was less like service and more like a quiet act of kindness – a graceful reminder of her boundless generosity of spirit, attention without intrusion, and as if she understood that comfort is found not just in coffee, but in being cared for.
Tamara, thank you for the coffee, amazing meal, coffee, your smile, coffee, your radiant personality, and coffee. ☕️☕️☕️

aside from the eggs i ordered medium well coming out raw the first time and overdone the second the food was good but couldnt bring myself to finish after a roach crawled across the table…… seriously i wish i could upload the picture i took of it.

This is by far one of the cleanest Waffle Houses I have ever been to with the best service. We had Jas as our waitress! She exudes excellence in the way that she served us. A waffle was brought out to me that was a little light/undercooked to my liking, she looked at my face, I didn’t even say anything and she said “I can tell you want your waffle darker. I’ll go make you another one.” I literally said “WHO DOES THAT!” She has telekinesis, she literally read my mind. I have never had a server that payed that close of attention to detail. She’s working at Waffle House, but she gave a 5 star dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning next time I travel through Boutte. Be blessed Jas!

Hash browns - raw. Food - edible but barely. Coffee - cold, and cup half full, but at least the high as a kite waitress forgot my spoon, water, and check lol. Never got a check I just walked to the counter, she got up from eating her waffle in the corner (not kidding), just punched in a perfectly even $14.00 into the machine (no clue if that’s what I even owed but I just wanted out of this place) then went back to eating. This place has a strange vibe, keep driving.
