Last time I ate here was in '87 during a manager's meeting in Alexandria. This time thru, the wife and grandson were with me. Still the same great service and great food. My grandson wanted to try the fried Alligator, he liked it and thought it was the coolest meal he ever had. Thank ya'

Tunks is a Family Owned restaurant. The people there are very friendly and the Food is Awesome. It also has a Bar down stairs off the Lake. Beautiful Place.

Dinner out on the patio was beautiful. And even seen a baby gator.
We had the best food and even better service. This is a must stop if passing thru or staying even within 50 miles or more. The view was excellent. The quail was rated number one and then the fried alligator. The oysters, shrimp, and red snapper were all a close third and the bread was crispy, lite, and fresh. We couldn't have enjoyed a better place to eat.

The food is mediocre and the service is atrocious. The interior is trashy, with a wonderful (blocked) view of the bayou! Huzzah 🥳😂

Been coming here for over a decade, amazing spot for locals great servicd from harold, oysters was fresh, onion rings was crispy and the frog legs are the main reason me and my wife visits so good
