I have not yet had the pleasure of eating at this establishment as it was closed during my time in Breaux Bridge, but I feel confident in saying that the business is an asset to the community due to its wonderful ownership.During a day trip to Breaux Bridge from over 60 miles away, my teenage daughter and her friend found themselves stranded when the manager of a chain retailer had my daughter's car towed even though they had shopped at the store and were participating in a local shopping event. The owner of Creole Lunch Box went out of her way to assist the stranded girls until my husband and I were able to make it to Breaux Bridge. She was so kind to them and defended them, even after the manager called the cops on her for no reason.I have taught my children that there is more good in this world than evil, and the owner of Creole Lunch Box proved that today. I can only assume the food and service is as good as the owner's heart. I look forward to visiting the restaurant in the near future.

The food here is always delicious and well seasoned. Do yourself a favor and get the macaroni as a side.

Can anyone in this town make a homemade rice dressing? Rice mixed with store bought dressing mix ain't it. Every place I've gotten rice dressing from in this town serves the same thing. Can't tell the difference from any of them. And baked beans should be baked! Not a can of pork and beans with a little molasses heated stove top. Potato salad was okay. Chicken leg quarter grilled on real charcoal. But I've seen bigger leg quarters on a sparrow! And the sausage link was the cheapest sausage I've eaten. I'd rather pay more for quality food than pay less for a cheap, unappetizing product.

I wish I would give them 10 stars! Amazing food and great people. I definitely try to get there at least once a week.

We called in and ordered 2 catfish plates that come with fries and 2 sides. $37 was way over priced for what we got. The fries tasted old, we got mac& cheese that was doused with jalapeño, too much. It rely tasted as if it was left.overs and warmed up to serve. Not sure we will give them a second try. I don't mind paying that price for fresh, good food, but that is way overpriced for what we received.
