Omg! Ms. Glenda you did your thing on those stuffed turkey wings. It was amazing 😘. We shall be back!
The food was great but my plate cost $13 and I paid with my credit card so she asked me did I need my receipt I told her no. Later that day I noticed on my online banking statement that she charged my card $25. The food was great but I never go there or refer anyone their if she scamming like that. Make sure you get your receipt and check it before you leave. Also I was eating in the parking lot and there was a loud knocking on my back window but no one was around my truck so there is a string spiritual presence on the grounds of the restaurant. Glenda is creole so voodoo and witchcraft is a common creole practice in Louisiana.

I had a fantastic brunch at Glenda’s Creole Kitchen! The meatball stew was incredible, and the bread pudding was a must-try. Our server, Hannah, was so attentive and made sure our drinks were always full, even remembering a special request for my friend. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming – perfect for a relaxing meal. The quality of the food and the exceptional service was amazing.
We also dined in on a Sunday and the BBQ was delicious. I'll definitely be back for the blackberry sweet dough pie.

I learned about this place from Mr. ChimeTime on Instagram. Today, I was passing thru Breaux Bridge and I just had to stop to check them out. This place is truly a hidden gem. Ms. Glenda herself held the door open for me to come in and greeted me with the warmest smile. I ordered the Smothered Pork Chops over rice and gravy with Green beans and a garden salad. I also grabbed a slice of homemade lemon cake and my total came to $17. The young lady serving the food was so nice and sweet as well. I loved everything about this place.
Now, let’s get down to the FOOD!!!!!!! If I go anywhere and there’s smothered pork chops on the menu, then that’s what I’m ordering. Ms. Glenda’s smothered pork chops were by far the best I ever had!!!!! Those pork chops were so flavorful and tender, with a slight kick which I loved. The green beans were good too. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any salad dressing for my salad, but I still ate it anyway. Lol I licked my plate clean!!!! Do you hear me? Not to mention, the lemon cake was so soft, moist, and delicious.
Everything was a 10/10. That plate didn’t stand a chance. It was demolished before I even made it to my destination. If I didn’t have somewhere to be, I would have turned around and gotten another plate to take home. I’m so glad I learned about this place. It’s in the middle of nowhere but I’ll definitely be stopping by whenever I’m in the area. It’s worth the hour drive from Baton Rouge!!!!!!

Restaurantji Recommends
Local food just so-so. Restaurant inside or outside isn’t all that clean…the restrooms were not clean either with no way to wipe hands. Vegetables are just canned green beans & canned corn. Would not recommend eating there.
That some good groceries. Awesome creole food. Grand food in a humble building.

If you’re in the area or live 20 hours away, this food is worth the drive. I drove from almost Chicago to eat the food here and it did not disappoint! I ordered my food to go, and after taking a small bite from each item I immediately went back inside and ordered even more than I originally planned. I hope this place is in business for many years to come! A forever customer has been made!

This place is as authentic as it gets. Glenda is amazing. This is food that is rarely found outside of a grandma's kitchen. Best lunch stop between New Orleans and Houston.
