Boudin balls were great. But the pork cracklin was dry and hard like they were from the day before. Hopefully it was just a bad batch.

Boudin is not good here. I eat boudin at every place that has it. This is a very different recipe. Cracklings could use more seasoning.
I stop in about once a year whenever I’m heading to Baton Rouge La. The place never disappoints.

I stopped here for boudin, crackling and crawfish pies.
I have say that they all was very good! Only thing I have to say is in the crawfish pies to leave out the rice....

We usually love eating Heberts boudin, but today whoever was working was extremely rude. She walked up to the window with an attitude. My mom asked for a half dozen of boudin balls. She walked away and said “I don’t even think I have that” comes back and said all she had was 6 of them. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but 6 IS half a dozen. So my mom said “yes, I’ll take the half dozen” and the lady said that my mom didn’t have to be rude. So not only does she have an ugly attitude, she doesn’t know math either.
