Yesterday we had 3 relatives from the Houston area coming through to visit on their way east. So my neighbors, my husband and myself were meeting them for lunch. I recommended Mi Tios. Actually told them the food was as good as any Texas Mexican restaurants. We all met there at 11:30 and entered. We were standing there for quite a while before we were seated. Maybe three other tables occupied that we could see. It took about 10 minutes for our drink order was taken. And MUCH to my surprise we were served water without ice and a tea that was so hot it melted what little ice was in it! The guys both order a beer that sat on the bar until we actually had to ask for it. Our order did come out, in stages, but the bad turned to worse....
1. Terry had enchiladas that were so cold it had grease congealed on top.
2. Debbie's burrito had cheese on it that had to be cut with a knife and was Luke warm inside.
3. Cristeen has soggy cold quesideas that had liquid coming out of them.
4. Tyler and myself had the burritos that was pictured on the menu, not sure of the menu name. They were both very dry inside and not hot at all. Rice was even cold.
5. Worst part was the Charro beans tasted sour. One spoon was enough to tell me that I did not need to get sick eating them and told Terry not to either!
Now, we have eaten at Mi Tios enough times to know this was not normal. The food there has always been excellent! But to have talked everyone into eating there and all being soooo disappointed made me very embarrassed. Do not know the circumstances but thought you should be aware of this for the future.

The hostess was very friendly and sat us right when we came in....20 minutes later after no one took our order or talked to us or took drink order so we left. The friendly hostess thanked us for coming 😆

Nice lil Mexican spot in Breaux Bridge. The decor is impressive on the inside and the bar service is fast!

This is one of those places that you just know are going to be good before you even get inside. The atmosphere is super inviting and communal and the service was great. The food tasted like it is from scratch kitchen. I recommend the Chimichanga (the salad on the side was also delicious), the Mexican tacos and of course the refried beans and rice.

Had the mexican bowl with fajita beef. Was delicious. Chips and salsa with bean dip was an excellent plus. Don't live in the area as we were just passing through but have told family in yhe area all about how great it was.

Don’t use the online menu because all you will be told is they been trying to have them update it. We ordered a fajita 21.99 with a small queso. My total was $42 and some change. Literally received ONLY onions as the vegetables and when I called they said the “new” menu states it only comes with onions. A couple pieces of steak, chicken and shrimp. Also didn’t receive my charro beans and flour tortillas that was supposed to come with it. If I could post a picture of what it looked like I definitely would. I am not one to do things like this but I’m so disappointed of how it was handled and we’ve came here MANY times. Won’t be back.

We went on a whim yesterday to see why they are always busy and now we know why. I loved el patio but this is my new favorite

Don't bother with the "Baby Back Ribs". They aren't baby backs but pork fingers with a cheap BBQ sauce poured over them and thrown on the griddle like fajitas. They seemed to have been boiled first. I wanted to step out the box here but it was a fail. Most things are good but quality has gone down since they first opened..

Convenient location right off I10 with lots of parking and cute interior decor. Food was really good, large quantities and came out hot. Service was extremely slow and quite inattentive when it wasn’t even busy. Quality of the food makes up for it though, so will be back to try again and see if the service improves.

They put meat in my vegetarian enchiladas, they took it back. The server was incredibly rude and claimed she doesn’t need to apologize or acknowledge it since she’s not the cook.
Second time my dish had meat yet again. I asked for the manager and they apologized but still made me pay full price for the meal even though it was never remade without meat. I left hungry and minus $25. Incredibly overpriced as I got one dish and a drink.
Cup handle was missing a chunk of glass and was dangerous. Awful all around. Likely won’t be back.
