Yesterday we had 3 relatives from the Houston area coming through to visit on their way east. So my neighbors, my husband and myself were meeting them for lunch. I recommended Mi Tios. Actually told them the food was as good as any Texas Mexican restaurants. We all met there at 11:30 and entered. We were standing there for quite a while before we were seated. This is one of those places that you just know are going to be good before you even get inside. The atmosphere is super inviting and communal and the service was great. The food tasted like it is from scratch kitchen. I recommend the Chimichanga (the salad on the side was also delicious), the Mexican tacos and of course the refried beans and rice.
Had the mexican bowl with fajita beef. Was delicious. Chips and salsa with bean dip was an excellent plus. Don't live in the area as we were just passing through but have told family in yhe area all about how great it was.
