Food, service and music were excellent. One of our favorite places to visit when we're in Breaux Bridge.

Yuck! Food was awful.....won't ever be back. We should have gone to Crawfishtown. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else!

I love that Randol's kept the old atmosphere of Mulate's. Their fried fish and hush puppies were really good and all of us Cajuns gave their gumbo a big thumbs up!!
Please go to Randols! You won’t be disappointed and you get to enjoy fabulous food and great Cajun music! We had crabs, shrimp and gumbo. Enjoy!

I have never NEVER left a review. But something has to be said!!
I was born and raised in Louisiana. I used to frequent the old Randols, and THAT food was good. I have no idea what happened, but their food was horrible!!!!
The shrimp and corn bisque had an unappealing sourness to it. I ordered it expecting to have a rich indulgent soup… instead I got a vinagery mess!
The alfredo sauce also had such a weird brightness to it. As someone who makes her own alfredo sauce, this stuff was so bad! It had a sour taste to it.
My husband got the grilled chicken it was tough and tasted of propane.
The crawfish etouffee tasted like nothing but tomato and salt.
We were visiting with our family who drove here from ALASKA!!! And they were totally underwhelmed.
The only good experience was the alligator bites and the spinach dip.
Service was decent though it seemed like the waitresses didn’t communicate well with eachother. The atmosphere was very warm. Not sure if that’s because it’s an old building our what, but we were fanning ourselves the whole night.

Worst service ever, waitress was rude after forgetting to put in my order, very unorganized and unprofessional. Fried catfish/shrimp was not cooked and definitely did not taste good.
Will never be back there

Fried food was not cooked, waitress was terrible, forgot to put my order in, and food was absolutely disgusting (:
Grew up in the area, moved out of state 2 years ago and came back to visit. Looking forward to authentic Cajun food and dancing so ventured to Randall’s. The food was very disappointing, under cooked, no seasoning, bland. The menu choices were limited and the alcoholic drinks tasted like water. As much as I want to see Randols succeed, I will never go back or recommend

I'm so happy to see Randol's back in business! This new incarnation of the Lafayette legend opened in January of this year (2024), three years after the original closed. It's still owned by the same family, and we took the time to congratulate them on their new location. The food is still delicious, but we were saddened to see that the menu offered fewer choices than before. (We hope this is just a temporary situation as they adjust to their new location.) A couple of old favorite dishes that remained (for example, the crawfish half-and-half) also seemed to offer smaller portions than before, but we again hope this is part of the readjustment. My family has missed this place, and we celebrate its return and look forward to it hitting its full stride.

We were disappointed to see our favorite restaurant went out of business. It was nice to see someone try to reopen under a new name. But the food was nothing like the original. The gator bites, fried crawfish and the Étouffée had no flavor at all. Quite disappointing. Maybe after they work all of the kinks out of this new venture it will be better. We will try them agin on the next trip through to see!?

For a true Cajun experience, enjoy the fresh Louisiana seafood., local french music bands and the beauty of the countryside.

Spent 2 weeks in south Louisiana eating at various cajun restaurants and this was the worst found. Ordered hush puppies, and chopped steak. Neither had any flavor at all. Menu gave me the option of choosing sides but waitress said I couldn't and made me take the sides they choose which were terrible. Don't waste your money.
