This spot in Broussard, LA is an absolute gem for Cajun plate lunches! The food is packed with authentic flavors that hit the spot every time. And let me tell you, they serve the best peach cobbler in the world—hands down! The portions are generous, and every bite tastes homemade. If you’re looking for a place that knows how to do Cajun right, this is it.
One of my other goto lunch spots in the Broussard area is Billeaud's No. 3. This is a classic plate lunch place with a menu that rotates each day. The thing I like the most about them is that their quality is consistent. These are the meals from my last few times there.
I eat Billeauds so often, they know me by name! I've never, ever had a bad meal, and people are so friendly! Also, I get specialty meats and my family thinks I'm a great cook, but, my secret is Billeauds! Best Boudin ever! Crackling, HOT DOGS WITH HOME MADE CHILI, Plate Lunches, you name it! You are missing out if you don't eat Billeauds!
