Visited this bakery this morning at 8:30am to find a very bare case and non friendly workers. This is our second time coming here early and not getting what we thought they would have. We asked about cronuts and king cakes( none were ready to sell) and were told the cronuts would be done by 10:00am and we’d have to reserve them if we wanted one. I will not be patronizing this bakery again.
My children love to treat their teachers to Jak's donuts. I can call ahead and everything is ready when I arrive. However, yesterday the children decided at the last minute to grab donuts for the staff. I was still able to pull up and receive the same level of service on such a short notice. ( I was grateful, but I recommend calling ahead) Thank again for the stellar service.
Delicious donuts! Friendly staff!
The apple fritters are the best and the donuts are soft and fluffy.
My family loves Jak’s! The donuts are delicious and the staff is super friendly. It’s our favorite in Acadiana for sure.
Great breakfast tacos. The doughnuts are very good also
Their donuts are cooked more like cakes and not greasy as some other places are. It is our new favorite donut stop.
Love their stuffed croissants. Very friendly service.
Really good service, doughnuts was fresh out the stove!!!
I finally got a chance to go the Broussard, location, not really truly friendly, fake smile and made me feel ,like my black behind didn't belong in here, Plus the owner walked out when I was getting in my car, I said HI, and he put his head down and walked to his truck, Never again !!

Bill was $21 for 2 cold, large kolaches, 2 glazed doughnuts and a small cold coffee. I questioned the total and they said their prices had gone up but didn’t reflect the sign outside…plus the size of kolaches are smaller!! And let’s not forget $.64 service charge for using my debit card!!! Well that was my last visit here!! Shame on you for charging more for less!! ?
Best donuts and kolaches in the Lafayette and Broussard area. The owners and staff are very friendly.Every time my family comes in town we make sure to get Jak’s before they go home.
Just not my type doughnuts in more dunk in doughnuts kinda girl
First time stopping here and I'll definitely be back. Christmas decor had me all festive and I was singing with the music lol.My wife loved the small kolaches and in my opinion those cronuts are crack! The donuts weren't hot but I guess you can ask for them to be warmed, but they were so airy and good.
Usually a great place, however today, November 7 we were greeted with a pretty rude employee. At 10:20 and the display was very bare (they close at 12) and she made no effort to even have one croissant made, was just very matter of fact in her approach. We almost left (it was that uncomfortable) without getting anything but we bought the few things we could there and went two minutes down the road to the donut shop at Broussard commons, completely different and good experience. You guys are great but you really need to do something with that employee.
