So not only you serve my child a RAW burger, but when we went back and asked for our money back you couldn’t refund the whole meal because he ate the FRIES. Make it make sense. You only want to refund HALF of what we paid. You lost a customer with your poor service and management. La Hacienda Restaurant and Cantina in Broussard!

They charged me $30 and didn’t add anything to my order that I asked for. And refuse to refund me my money. Jacqueline or Joycelyn has horrible customer service.

The louisiana special is excilent!The Margarita was ok.The staff is polite.the dining room was clean .I will go back.

Sign says they close at nine. Tried to go in for a quick meal at 8:40 and they turned the open sign off in front of my face. How hospitable.

I love quesabirrias so I was excited to find out that they serve quesabirrias here on weekends. WAS. These were the WORST quesabirrias I’ve ever had. Super salty and a super greasy, soggy mess. Also got guacamole with chips which were beyond stale. There’s way too many Mexican restaurants here to be this bad!

The food here was absolutely delicious! Each person at my table thoroughly enjoyed their food! The chicken in the enchiladas had a perfect flavor, even without the cheese sauce. The rice and beans were flavorful but not over the top. The salsa was not too spicy but still very good. One person in my party got a burrito, which he said was really good, but he was disappointed it did not come with beans and rice. He still loved the food regardless. I was also surprised at how much fountain drinks were (almost $4).
We loved everything, though!
The only main thing was the service. Took a long time to get refills, check, other items once it got busier. It appears that there was maybe one main server and two people somewhat helping out for the ENTIRE restaurant on a Sunday for lunch. Our server never forgot anything though, which was really impressive considering how many tables he was taking care of. It just took a while to get him back to our table.
Overall, though, we will absolutely come back here!

Worst attitude from their staff. Food ordered was wrong & was not corrected. The chicken was extremely salty. Not edible. Even the chips were burnt. Worst place I have ever been. Strongly do not recommend!!! Stay away. The toilet was cracked & bathroom was moldy & disgusting. ?

Changing my review from 4 stars to 2. This is the closest Mexican restaurant to our house. Over the years, we have sadly watched this place get worse and worse.
Last night, after looking at the online menu, we called and placed an order for pick up.
The Hacienda Enchiladas were listed at $18.99 on the website. My receipt says $19.75. This consisted of 4 tortillas, each containing 4 small to medium grilled shrimp and cheese sauce. That's. It. The shrimp weren't even seasoned.

The Quesadilla Texana was also listed at $18.99 online and we got charged $19.75.

I am fairly certain this was our last time supporting La Hacienda.

Looking for authentic Mexican food? I'm from San Antonio, been looking for that authentic flavor since I moved here. I went with family, everyone loved the food. Definitely recommend.
