Poo-Yie this place will knock you out your socks!!! I'm a CAJUN woman and I love a good meal with plenty of FLAVOR and the Lazy Caveman DELIVERS. This is not healthy and you better be a MEAT EATER if you wanna find something here. Only vegetables is the onions in the boudin!
My kids ask to come here for the boudin. Today I tried their wings.... AND IM HOOKED. I normally don't try wings from anywhere except Wingstop, but these looked so good... and they were! Honey Garlic was my fave. Do yourself a favor and try the wings once!

As a native to Acadiana and a Boudin lover I can honestly say that I’ve sampled just about everything the area has to offer. Lazy Caveman is my absolute favorite and no other place is even close! Not too spicy and the ratios of meat to rice are spot on. They use lots of green onion which I also enjoy. It’s always consistent too. Their wings are also the best I’ve ever had, I think next time I come I’ll have one of the plate lunches because the food looked amazing.

The ladies that work here are absolutely sweet , the food is delicious i highly recommend the chicken cracklings!
I only give the atmosphere a 3 bc it’s in a gas station haha, but don’t let that stop you from trying this place. I had the smothered rabbit w/ rice and gravy, white beans and green beans and everything was incredible. The gravy was one of the best I’ve had and I eat a lot of plate lunches. I also had a slice of pecan pie and it was 10/10. Will def be back to this spot
