Called to place an order, but no one answered the phones after 3 tries placed order online went to drive thru to pick up my order the manager had the worst attitude. He kept telling me I was picking up a DoorDash delivery order I said no it’s my order you all did not answer the phones after 3 tries so I just placed it online. He was very rude and kept telling me I next time I have to go inside. Very rude

We loved the atmosphere at Mel's the inside and outside just makes such an awesome impression went to new iberia location on hwy the waiter was awesome and the food was delicious all 3 of us were impressed 6 yr old enjoyed french fries and smiley pancake and adults enjoyed fried fish and breakfast food love this place recommend to all
Kid-friendliness: Waiter made 6 yr old feel so comfortable and important he loved food and his coloring page and waiter put his drink in to go cup to prevent possible spillage hahaha but didn't tell him that hahaha

Got off work early and felt like eating nice hearty breakfast and this HIT the spot! Meagan was the best and fell in love with her service. And her eyes… Best breakfast I’ve had in a while! Will definitely stop again if working nearby
We had the catfish courtbullion it was really good. Paul was very good waiter very busy and still made sure we had what we needed. Worth going to Broussard la. The price was reasonable (not over priced ). Ample parking even have rv parking
Mainly, Mel's Diner offers delicious food and excellent hospitality. Sure, there are wait times that can get long (mainly in the early morning), but it's worth the wait. Definitely recommend.
