Crab dishes are excellent, the best in town by far. Well established, consistent. A long- time Lafayette favorite. Crabmeat Imperial is superb, as are all the other seafood. Unpretentious and comfortable atmosphere. Service is friendly feels almost like family.

Started with fabulous cocktails- lemon drop and tequila martini. Ordered the stuffed flounder and red fish, absolutely delicious. The warm yeast rolls are to die for. Finished with bread pudding and was the best ever- has a hint of cinnamon. Terrific service and were seated near the window for view of the water. Definitely a wonderful restaurant and we will return. Lovely find.

We had an amazing dinner last night to celebrate Anniversary’s! This is our favorite go to spot for celebrations! I was so excited to see how busy the place was and never mind waiting for good food and good service! Our waitress was top tier! Always love going to local places where you find the owners greeting you and checking on you! Thank y’all for another amazing dinner 🍽️! We will be back! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Outstanding food! We had the catfish bites with our salads. My Bride had the scrumptious hamburger steak and onions with stuffed potato while I enjoyed the delicious chicken Alfredo, Oh My! Destinee, our server was delightful and welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit.

Poor Boy's Riverside Inn is a true Lafayette gem for great local eats! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made it even better. Destiny was absolutely wonderful so friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions. We took her up on a couple of them, and she did not steer us wrong one bit! On top of the tasty food, the drinks and cocktails were spot-on refreshing and perfectly made. Between the amazing service, flavorful dishes, and fun drinks, this place is definitely one to keep coming back to.
