We had family visiting from North Carolina, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations!
We enjoyed our visit because we were with our family. Our server was nice and friendly. It's was a bit cold due to the enormous fan in the center of the room. The restaurant wasn't full at all so it made it super drafty. Also, there's a back door that allows flies to come in, that wasn't pleasant, so don't sit there. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and the food was yummy.
Made reservation for Mother’s Day. When we arrived, we were told it would be half an hour before we could be seated and two hours before our food would be ready.
We spent over three hours in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes for our fried appetizer and another hour and half to get entrees. We knew it was Mothership day and booked reservations 2 weeks in advance. Never going back.
Really good, fresh. Every dish really different. All delicious! Very family vibe on a Friday night - big tables of 3 or more generations. Delightful to see.
Prejean's Restaurant truly delivered a memorable dining experience. From the moment we sat down, the service was attentive and friendly, adding a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the meal. The hamburger steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, a testament to their dedication to quality ingredients. But the real star of the show was the fried alligator bits. Crispy on the outside and surprisingly tender on the inside, they were a delightful and unique taste of Louisiana cuisine. Overall, Prejean's left a lasting impression, a place where delicious food and amazing service come together for a truly enjoyable meal.
Our server, Roe, was exceptional! The food was outstanding and the drinks were on point! We will be back!
We got the threesome gumbo and the red beans and rice with the pork chop.
It was all very good, but the gumbo and green beans were amazing! I could make a meal of just the greenbeans, they were so good.
Overall the food was great. The green beans weren’t bad, but just not to my liking.
Pork Ribeyes were tender, well done, yet still juicy. The red beans and rice was 🤌🏼🤌🏼. The customer service was excellent. I sat at the bar and the young lady checked on me often and also asked how I was liking the food. Wish the. Brownie had a bit more ice cream especially for the price. It was mostly whip cream. Will definitely comeback and try another item from the menu.
Gumbo, fried platter, bread pudding...all good. You won't leave hungry

Hush puppies were great, garlic mash was good, and the tuna steak was a little undercooked but good as well.
Ate there for lunch today and the food and service was all excellent. I would highly recommend and we will go back.
Today I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad. It came w egg and bacon crumbles. It was by far the best Caesar salad I have ever had. While I’m at it, the ribeye pork chop is one of the best pieces of pork I have ever eaten.
Food was really good. I think the only thing I could point out for improvement would be to use chicken breast for the Alfredo instead of tenders.
The coullion burger was perfect!
The worst experience I ever had a restaurant. It took over an hour and 1/2 before I received my food. Once I received the food it was warm not hot the shell was still on the shrimp in the gumbo. I will never eat here again.
