The best sushi and hibachi in the area. The monkey brains appetizer is amazing. I always get the baked scallop roll! I recommend this place to everyone i know.

Ordered a rainbow roll and an oni roll with a sweet tea. Sweet tea was terrible as if someone had forgotten to clean out the container. Rainbow roll the fish on it had been sitting out for a while, the tuna had lost its color turning brownish gray and the white fish was dried out. The oni roll the eel was just not properly cooked, the skin was still raw covered in slime.

THE PRICES on the menu are LESS than the ACTUAL amount charged. Menu said $10 for a cocktail; charge was $12.50. EVERY item on the bill was MORE than the price on the menu.
Server should have alerted us that the menu contains BOGUS PRICES. This is absolutely unforgivable.
While the food is edible the people making the sushi don't know how to make proper sushi rice nor do they know how to roll rolls, even nigiri fell apart. Fish was full of sinew and almost impossible to eat [salmon and red snapper].
Cocktail was GROSS; flavors not balanced. It was so sweet it was nauseating AND I would bet money there was no alcohol in it AT ALL.
AVOID SAKETINE Sushi & Hibachi at all costs.
Had our server asked me how it was I would have certainly told her. I did not complain and would not be writing this review EXCEPT for the fact that they overcharged us by WAY too much to let this go.

1$dollar per yum yum sauce which were in the tiny little containers which is outrageous. Also on my sisters birthday they just had no lava cake. I enjoyed the food though.

We popped in for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious! The waitress was so kind and recommended the perfect rolls for us, especially since my husband has some food restrictions. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Had a friend bring some takeout and the food was so awesome. It was some hibachi and sushi and I can't wait to take my wife there for a hibachi date.

Why do y'all still have Christmas decor on the front windows and "one free appetizer during the month of December"? Food has not been great lately. Edamane was hard, tuna smelled fishy. Shrimp in habachi were burnt on on side. It might be time to find another place to order sushi. And countless times we ordered and paid for extra fried rice and it was not included in our order. Forget chop sticks often too.

From the beginning to the end of the time I was there the experience was amazing. We came here after a graduation and I had the combination hibachi with a "tap dat azz" roll and OMG that was the best sushi roll I've had in my life. I will definitely be back when I come thru Broussard in the near future. The whole staff was working hard and the owner still made time to come to our table and make sure we were enjoying our experience. 10/10

Between sushi roxx, saketini, and samurai 2, this one is the best. But if you want really good sushi, you have to leave broussard. But this place will do if you aren’t a sushi snob. The service is better, in my experience, than samurai.

Ordered take-out for lunch and got the seared tuna salad. During my order I specified that I wanted the entrée and not the appetizer. My bill was over $22, which is fine if its a good salad. I opened the bag and it was a few pieces of seared tuna which was smaller than a small sushi roll. No "salad" in sight, just a few pieces of fish. The waiter assured me this was the entrée. This is my first and last time I order from this place.
