I recently moved to Broussard and stumbled upon this wonderful shop. I have never eaten a donut that tasted so delicious! The chocolate they use is melt in your mouth good! Also great customer service! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate me today because they had ran out of chocolate covered donuts. He dipped some for me within five minutes. My family was so impressed and appreciative. We will be referring friends and family. Sunrise Donuts is the absolute best!

This donut shop is hands-down a local gem! The customer service is truly out of this world. The owners are the absolute sweetest people you’ll ever meet- always going above and beyond. They even bring donuts by our veterinary clinic every time they stop in— talk about kindness baked right in!! And the donuts? Exceptionally good. Fluffy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. If you are anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and treat yourself.

The best donuts in Broussard. They are a good size and super tasty. They just did a large order of Halloween donuts for me and everyone loved them. My go-to donut shop. The owners and staff a great.

Nice shop, perhaps wonderful products but an unpleasant disposition. Requested a dozen assorted donuts for a customer visit. The lady was going to stack them on edge blending the flavors together. Pleasantly requested a flat box and the interaction declined rapidly from there. I would assume that the reason was that the larger box might cost more but that is the proper way to present assorted flavors. Would have happily paid extra (although it would have been odd) for the larger box.Can’t say they are a “not recommended” however; there are other great choices in reasonable proximity and I see no reason to go back since I rather not deal with unpleasant people when I don’t have to.
