Been a huge fan since Ruby's days.
The food is exceptional, love that it is a family owned business working hard and local is where its at.
Food is consistent and prices are in range with all the other businesses and fast food. (Wendy's is 15 bucks for a burger, fries, and a drink... its not local and has horrible management)

I just started working in Broussard and was looking for someplace to eat a decent plate lunch for under $20 to go, so I went to Tim’s. I saw Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes on the menu, and that’s as close to home as you can get. I took my order to go, and when I opened the box, I was immediately struck that the mashed potatoes had greasy brown gravy and what was sold as chicken fried steak was dry setting on the side. I tried to cut the mystery meat and the breading all just fell off. I tried feeding a piece of it to my dog, and he would not eat it. Bottom line money well spent, I never have to go there again. I will not comment on the canned greens or the so called salad. The one thing that was good was the roll. That’s what I had for lunch.
it was AMAZING omg for lunch , best gumbo ive think ive EVER had it’s literally the best and its such a cozy and safe environment i def recomend and everyones so sweet i LOVE IT !!!!

I’m new to the area and have already been to Tim’s Kitchen five times — three times for takeout, once dining in, and twice placing orders for pickup, including this past Sunday. Each visit, the customer service has been outstanding — always attentive, warm, and genuine. Tim greets you as soon as you walk in and knows his customers by name, making every visit personal and welcoming. The hospitality extends to his staff too — everyone makes you feel right at home. So far, I’ve had the barbecue twice, gumbo four times, fried shrimp, and the fried fish plate with étouffée, all with delicious sides, including great potato salad, which is hard to find. It all comes with that soft homemade bread, the perfect touch to any meal. And let’s talk about the desserts — I’ve had the wedding cake twice now, plus the red velvet, and both are the best I’ve had so far in Acadiana. Even my family members who were visiting couldn’t get over how good these homemade cakes are. I’ve also tried the chocolate chip doozie and the chocolate doozie with whipped cream (which was recommended by his wife — and what a great recommendation!). I have so much more to try at Tim’s, and I’m really looking forward to my next visit!
The food is absolutely delicious. I urge everyone to go there and try anything and everything. We will definitely go back

Yes. Yes. Yes.
I had spaghetti. It's not a wet spaghetti. And the meatballs are delicious 🤤.
I didn't have to add anything.
The cakes?! 🎂
Large slices of heaven.
I ordered wedding cake, black velvet, banana supreme or split, and strawberry shortcake.
All of them were delicious, but my favorites were the black velvet and banana supreme.
Just treat yourself to some happiness and go.

Honestly… if I wanted four day old lasagna it would have been great. But, I assure you that there was nothing great about it. It consisted of dried up meat and noodles.. no cheese!!! What?!?! A box of hamburger helper would have been a five star meal compared to it. The navy beans had an overwhelming amount of celery in them. The cup of salad dressing had no more than a tablespoon of dressing in it. The bread was good. Will we be back? No, they’re way too many dining places that are serving delicious food that you’d return for.

So excited about finding Ms. Ruby dining in her original restaurant, now her son's Tim's Kitchen. Yummy food and lovely art on the walls. A truly delightful experience. Thanks for the love of a family place.
