I have to say this was disappointing and frustrating. Had to remind our waitress 5 or more times to bring our drinks. And that was just the first round of drinks. 5 adults and 2 kids. Not an huge table! Took 30+ minutes to get 2 teas and a lemonade and Dr Pepper. Even longer to get a beer. It was as if when she walked through the door she forgot we were even there. We have been here a few times now. We decided to use their drive thru on the way home. I felt like their load brisket baked potato but the young lady in the window said they just sold the last one. I checked the menu and chose the chicken fried steak sandwich with fries. It did not disappoint. I didn’t care for the mayo on it, so I asked for ranch. If you are going to be near Bunkie soon check them out, they will be worth it.
Hubby and I haven’t been here very often, but after last night we will definitely make the effort, well worth it! We both ordered the steak w/shrimp & baked potatoes. The steak was exactly as ordered, seasoned to perfection and so dang good! The shrimp were fried, but…so well seasoned and not over done, sweet and tender, delicious is an understatement! Potatoe was just as good! The service was just as excellent, well taken care of on all points.
