This was our second time visiting. Needless to say we are not going back anymore. I didn’t leave a review after the first time because I wanted to give them a second chance and they failed again. My order was wrong on both visits, last visit I ended up eating my meal with nothing to drink because they forgot about me. This time was the same thing so I had to get up and get a refill myself. On this visit I ordered the beef burrito with extra tomatoes and rice, I was brought a chicken burrito with 3 small pieces of tomato. After waiting 23 minutes to let my server know that it was wrong which she came to the table next to me and never looked in my direction. So I got up and told another person that my order was wrong. After I ate, I went to the lady’s room and it smelled so bad I had to get out quick. I was so afraid of falling because the floor was so slippery it felt like there was just grease all over that’s how slippery it was. I sure would’ve died if I had to fall on that nasty floor and get hurt. However after the extremely bad service The food was good once I got the correct order but my husband and I both agreed that there will be no next time.

Spotted this little Mexican restaurant while passing through LA. It looked busy on a pretty Sunday afternoon. So, we stopped. Comfortable, clean restaurant Booth and tables
We tried... Chips n salsa good not spicy Guacamole good & fresh White queso good , not thick
Tacos de Carne asada. Very Very good Rice n beans very good
Enchiladas Verdes (3): 1 chicken - tender and tasty 1 taco beef - good 1 queso - good Verde sauce - fresh and not too spicy
Saved to maps to hopefully stop and enjoy again.

Amazing service and amazing food. Yea okay maybe you have eaten at a million Mexican Restaurants but you should definitely try Zapote! The staff are super friendly and the food isn't hit or miss, it is always a hit!

Yall! At first thought the business was nice I'd enjoy myself being out with my partner but right away when came take order, was told debit machine was down. So we had to leave, find somewhere to get cash then go back. We ordered to go. So my partner goes on, grabs our bag, comes back. I don't look right away. Once made it to our hotel, got settled in & I open my order & MY ORDER WASNT WHAT I ORDERED! OMG Couldn't believe it! Finally got a call back next day would give us a discount next time! Bull! Should had reimbursed us?
This little cantinas has some of the best fajitas I've eaten in a while. Smiling happy waitresses like they really are into their jobs. Viva Zapote!

The restaurant was great, we went over to eat in a group of 6 right before homecoming, I was impressed with the price just not in a good way.I ordered a side of fries which was about a big handful of those, and a drink, I handed a 20 and got 2 back so yeah, also they had some problems with their card machine so we had to wait a bit, but overall I had a fun time there..
