Amazing service and amazing food. Yea okay maybe you have eaten at a million Mexican Restaurants but you should definitely try Zapote! The staff are super friendly and the food isn't hit or miss, it is always a hit!

Yall! At first thought the business was nice I'd enjoy myself being out with my partner but right away when came take order, was told debit machine was down. So we had to leave, find somewhere to get cash then go back. We ordered to go. So my partner goes on, grabs our bag, comes back. I don't look right away. Once made it to our hotel, got settled in & I open my order & MY ORDER WASNT WHAT I ORDERED! OMG Couldn't believe it! Finally got a call back next day would give us a discount next time! Bull! Should had reimbursed us?

The restaurant was great, we went over to eat in a group of 6 right before homecoming, I was impressed with the price just not in a good way.I ordered a side of fries which was about a big handful of those, and a drink, I handed a 20 and got 2 back so yeah, also they had some problems with their card machine so we had to wait a bit, but overall I had a fun time there..

Zapote is easily the best restaurant in Bunkie. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. Not just the traditional dishes either, If you haven't yet try their cheeseburgers.

Was charged $29 for a taco salad and two tacos!! I asked for extra tomato and extra onion on the taco salad I got a few slivers of onion and about eight diced tomatoes. Same thing with the extra tomato and onion I asked for on the two tacos as well. This is ridiculous I can't believe that guy actually charged me $29 and kept a straight face the whole time. I am so sick of seeing these restaurants price gouging people and charging them exorbitant rates for the food that they give them and then the food ain't even all that great. If you want Mexican and you live in bunky go to marksville to the Taco Bell there and you will get a lot better tasting food with more of a Mexican Spanish flare. I hope these people price gouges themselves out of business because that's exactly what they're doing.

A terrible taco salad. Was nothing except lettuce and ground beef. No refried beans, no ripe olives, no onions nor guacamole. First disappointing meal there.
