If your fishing around Empire, LA this is your spot. Didn't stay here, but the staff is friendly and helpful. They have bait and a tackle shop, and a clean boat ramp protected from the bay.
Delta Marina is great. Staff are super helpful and their prices are reasonable. The only problem we encountered was the closing of the floodgates when the tide is high. It would be super helpful if the Marina and Parish would work together to come up with a better way to communicate the closures with the boaters and fishermen.
Delta Marina is always a good place to stay. It's our 2nd time staying there. Rooms are very clean. Store and restaurant staff are very nice. Love that we can park our boat right by our room. Highly recommend staying there.
