This was great. Took a little while for the food to come. But it was definitely worth the wait. So much flavor.

Frozen margaritas was good but overpriced, the food was horrible rice not cooked with no Mexican flavor.. Beef enchiladas taste like regular ground beef no Mexican flavor.. the cheese on top was shredded cheese out of a bag.. and was an extra buck fifty… the chips were broken pieces and had an old oil taste I would never recommend this place to anyone..

Great local spot. Owner takes time to be friendly and service oriented to everyone who comes in. Staff is great and welcoming. Stuffed avocado is really good.

Where do i start, Our waiter Jacqueline or as she asked to call her jackie was the most caring and wonderful most hard working waiter i’ve had in my lifetime. She treated us with the upmost respect she kept the margs coming for the buddies around me and had the chips served hot and ready like little ceasers. I had the enchiladas and she told me it was her favorite so i couldn’t tell her otherwise. She placed us in the cactus room and i felt like i was living at the vip level like the executives of the world. I wish i lived in austin so i could come around here more often. The queso was alright but the guac was made with all of jackie’s heart and we respected her quite a bit for it. Saw orange in guacamole for the first time, WAS QUITE A NICE TOUCH! I’d suggest jackie gets a raise with how hard she works.

I was recommended by a lot of friends and business partners that Iron Cactus is really good. I have drove passed this restaurant so many many times because I live and own a business on the same road as them but never get stop by . So as today June 3rd 2024, I decided to bring my parents and my own family to have dinner but I SWEAR To GOD that I will NEVER come back again. All the food I ordered was nightmare. For example 16oz Ribeye steak taste that it’s been season with 5 tablespoons of Salt, My son kids quesadilla with chicken taste like it seasoned with 2 tablespoons of salt in in. My Chicken Fajita and steak taco was at least season with 3 spoons of salt. I go eat Mexican food 3 4 a week like Don Chuy, El PASO, Avodo’s and Steakhouses like Texas Road house or Longhorn but i never see it any restaurant that cook disgusting food like this ever. $200 gone just to eat 5 plates of food with 4 (20oz) cup of salt in it. Now I’m sure I’n going to be sick ?

I haven't been here in a while because it is off my beaten path. It's a nice atmosphere to get caught up with friends. Service was good. Food was good. My quesadilla was a little salty, but not so much you couldn't eat it, just more than I would have added myself. Will be back.
