If I could’ve gave it a 1 star I would…. Please tell me when u get a shake is liquid almost the same consistency of water supposed to be thick… why was my whip cream mixed into the drink and not on top, why did my shake come with a flat top and not one that is round where the whip cream is supposed to be… cup was not full… asked for extra strawberry taste like straight ice cream I do not recommend this place at all way better sonic establishments out there !!

We pulled in and waited for 20 minutes and no one answered the call button so we left. McDonalds was happy to take my money instead. This is ridiculous and in time this will this business. There are other places to give our money to

I do sonic about 1x a year. My other family members 2+'x a month. Who knows, maybe I will do it again this next month.

My wife and I sat here for 20 minutes after pressing the red button, without response. We observed 6 or more vehicles leave without any personnel ever coming out. After that time, we placed an order via mobile app for a ice cream, a shake, and mozzarella sticks. That then took an extensive amount of time. The person that brought the order out stated the kitchen was already closed, the blender was already cleaned so could not help with items in the ice cream. More people continue to drive in and just sit and wait. This is certainly a first.

worst sonic location i’ve ever been to. burgers are consistently dry, and tastes like when you reheat an old burger in a microwave. ordered off the app and it took 30 minutes for them to get one burger out.
Waited 20 minutes before they took our order. Then, we waited another 15 minutes before we got our food. I wouldn't have waited, but we were waiting for Crawfish hole to open.

I just got finished reading reviews and comments on the Sonic located on University Avenue in Carencro Louisiana. I did find a few good reviews but noticed they were dated back to 2014 20 15, 2016 and 2017. This sonic location. let me add this comment submitted September 3, 2024 my wife and I visited this sonic because it’s right down the street from our house. We placed an order in the app while in the stall and paid for it online in the app. The order was simple one sonic cheeseburger, one foot-long Coney with cheese and chili one medium order of onion rings, and one medium vanilla shake. It seems like it would be hard to screw this up but again Carencro sonic strikes again. I don’t know if it’s poor management lazy employees pennypinching or what is going on there, but I received my food if that’s what you could call it,my shake was light as a feather. It was a medium cup of whipped cream room temperature with a cherry on top, my onion rings were served to me like they had been molded into a ball and I must add a wet greasy ball that was cold to the touch and I must say they were quite nasty. Could not eat when you show up to sonic for a nice cold ice cream shake as advertised you don’t expect to get a cup of whipped cream. Did these folks forget that I’m paying my hard earned money for this. I wondered if they ever considered the thought what I feed this to my own family I think not anyway the sonic cheeseburger was good. No complaints there the foot-long Coney on the other hand which I ordered with chili and mustard and onion. the chili was basically nonexistent. I have been a devoted patron of sonic for many years, I have visited a lot of sonic locations, but I have never experienced such low quality in a product in my life upper management needs to take a hard look at this location because they are eventually going to get someone sick and kill them. I have no complaint with the carhops as they are all usually pretty nice folks and I always manage to tip, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this sonic again. What a shame it’s so convenient and close to my house. It is my opinion. The Sonic immediately needs, a new management system and proper training for the employees before you get sued for health violations. Whatever happened to the customer is always right in my younger days. I worked in the fast food industry, and I have never witnessed such disorganization and uncaring, which is obviously management fault.
