I got the Boom Boom Burger. 10/10 hamburger. Well-seasoned large patty, spicy jalapeno cheese sauce, and a soft and flavorful bun. Onion rings and cajun fries also very good. Saw low reviews given about the phone not being answered, but the phone was answered twice in the time I was there. Would recommend.
I was on a day trip with a friend. We decided to stop in for lunch. This quaint eatery has quite a diverse menu for a diner, ans lots of side dish options. The prices were fair. The portions were fair. The service was wonderful. The one thing that prevents this local to Castor diner from scoring a 5 star from me is the extra charge for using a card to pay. I will never like with paying more to use plastic rather than cash. I wasn't told of the "plastic tax"neither." I noticed it after my card was charged. It's not a deal breaker though, so when I have cash in pocket, I would stop in again.

I particularly love the grilled fish and shrimp dinner. I have had it multiple times and it is always consistently fantastic. The flavour is a spectacular party in my mouth and I feel like I am eating healthier with the dish being grilled not fried. Salads are tasty too.

Green beans and purple hull peas were good. But the chicken friend steak was soo hard and the mashed potatoes were dry. Tasted like frozen chicken friend steak they put in a fryer. Also was the first time I've been there. I see there's a bunch of positive reviews but I hate I didn't get to leave a good one unfortunately. I love chicken friend steak but this was the worst I've ever had.

Loved the food and the seating arrangements. From the outside this place looks small, but once you step in you are instantly swept away by the size of this place. The smell when walking through the door is just amazing ? I found my new regular dining spot. Wish the menu had mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce, but other than that this place is really S-class top of the line.
We love this place! GREAT food, GREAT menu items, GREAT staff, and GREAT atmosphere! I highly recommend!
